Sunny August

August allways feels like summer hahaha. The sun suddenly gets stronger, everyone strips off and you see white arms and legs reflecting the sun hahahahaha... i kid you not thats exactly what happens. NZ in August gets some pretty good heat goin as the eastern parts get da NW wind that sends da temp over 20 degrees quite often. I too are making the most of the sunny days soaking up as much of the UV as i can.... not to get a tan but more for vitamin D. i'm using my time delivering the mail to get my UV quota cos once home i'm covering up... this will stop me from getting fried especially once summer arrives. Had a nice thunderstorm last nite which was brilliant. Work has been interesting..... at times i feel like i'm being conspired against... reminds me of reality shows... you don't have to be crap to get eliminated, you just have to be the crappiest of the bunch... Apprentice sorta comes into play. Since i started a year ago i allways wanted to train a postie. I was trained at the start of 42, and then by Tasha (who started post just after me) on run 23. I was helped inside on 54 even though i allways did the outside myself. At the start of the week Gabbie was bracketed beside my name for training. Gabbie is the newest postie but shes picked it up really well and is on the longest run in pakuranga (31). I was THIS close to training her on 54 but then Liz decided to put her on something less fierce (54 is a "mans run" for a reason) so shes now being trained by Steven on run 35 (Bramley area where Jaxx lives). So i'm still without a pupil and the voices in my head were joking that i will never ever train anybody at post. I get alot of voices in my head and i tend to laugh at the jokes... i really don't take anything seriously anymore.. prob cos i really don't care haha. things will happen... i'll have a whinge but to be honest deep inside i'm quite happy.

Things could happen at post in the near future though regarding me... firstly they do plan to put me on another run and secondly i'm putting in for a weeks holiday.... in October is the earliest i can prob get... whether i get it is another story but no harm in trying... no biggie if i miss out.

i'm off kiting at the mo becasue i need a new harness and i'm gonna wait till my dad has his bday before i get one next week

OTHER BLOGS ALLMOST READY TO MOVE

...... but they will NOT be moved to here.  I'm moving my archived blogs offline and my kitesurfing blogs will be goin onto da kitesurfing website that i'm check out every now and then.... haha now its occasionally the odd month or so but back in 2007 i was on it every few minutes lol.... just goes to show how much i've gone off kitesurfing in the last 2 years.  My websites too will be goin offline so apart from facebook and bebo this will be the main online network for me and my stuff haha.  i may startup a website at a later date but not at da mo.... as mentioned before i'm gonna be spending much less time on da internet.   The hols are goin well..... on da internet lots haha..... going to da gym lots too and plan to kite if da wind is good.

1990

ok from 1990 onwards each year was sorta signified by a certain apsect that that year majored in... ie RC CARS, kitesurfing, church etc etc.  Each year had a different theme lol... hey i didn't plan this... it just happened.  1990 ironically enuf was the year of girls... funny that the first thing a year is known for is the very thing that i don't have much to do with. Anyway in 1989 i got into Motley Crue... stayed with the Motley Crue theme for most of 1990 and music taste was getting heavier and heavier.  in the middle of the year i finally took the plunge and got some REAL heavy metal (ie stuff not played on the radio).  My mum of course was worried... she saw the story about the guy who shot himself cos he listened to Judas Priest and was worried that i would try and kill myself.  i was a moody sorta person and prone to outbursts... definately quite antisocial and gory too.  i was still into radio controlled cars in a big way and as i was competing i...
