I've learnt a lot in the last month or so... in 2 dasy time i'll be back in NZ and a sense of normality returns to my life although things are gonna be different when i return to NZ.... initially i will be hanging with mates and socialising... there are a few events coming up.  i will writing up both trips when i get back to NZ

hey guys Brisbane is excellent. i'm still here at da mo.... heading home on feb 3rd.  i miss home, miss my mates and miss NZ.  In saying that i'm LOVING Australia.... totally different country to NZ... no better, no worse.  They say if you can handle the snakes, the heat and da flies you will love OZ.  Haven't seen a wild snake yet (but would like too!) and no issues with the heat or da flies... but the mozzies..... haha yea they pretty ruthless eh. you get big welts when they bite u and some of the mozzies are BIG.... haha 1cm long blood suckers with striped legs... and yeah i legged it the other way but to be honest over here is less harsh than in NZ cos no probs with hayfever here... NZ is NUTS for pollen.. insane.  if you like sun you will LOVE Queensland haha but anyway enuf of my bloody rants... to the kiteblog if you wanna see my OZ kitesessions... will be updating my kiwi sessions at a later date when i get home.... i do plan to do more roadies in NZ t...

Ev'as 25th was in early December 2010... and due to issues with Eva in October of that year (just after Jaxx's 40th) i allmost wasn't gonna go.   However Eva told Jaxx in early November that she wanted me to go to da party and that she was friends with me... Jaxx then told me.... and the rest is history haha. The party itself was the usual setup at da start... "i'm there for da food" mentality that i allwasy seem to have at da start of parties.  But liek Jaxx's 40th i ended up doin more dancing than eating.  infact i had a bloody good time... lots and lots of dancing.  The mask i bought for the masquarade is so cool that i wear it every now and then... such a good posing mask... hides my wrinkles. Lots of alcohol was drunk and everyone had a good time... some emo patches towards the end by the usual suspects but nothing major and NO  fights... either within our group or amoungst randoms. Jaxx made an appearence at the end and once again we teased those...

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

Yep birthday today haha.... first port of call is having a sleep haha.  Settling into my hols quite nicely now... i'm doin lots of things... exc ept of course stuff that invloves work lols.  My weight has ballooned up to 84kgs again despite getting it down to 80kgs 2 days ago lols.... weight all over the place at da mo but 84kgs is way higher than what i was hoping for.  However becasue i'm not working at da mo its not that important that i'm light.  Whilst i'm expecting Brisbane to be hot i will also be kitesurfing and i've never ever overheated kitesurfing when not wearing a wetsuit. I have plenty of things planned between now and the Brisbane trip.... lots of it involves eating so in reality i'm not expecting my weight to be much below 85kgs when i board that plane for Brissy

Ok it is now 2011 ppl.  Saw it in crammed onto a bridge like sardines whilst watching Sydney's world famous fireworks display.... and it certainly didn't dissapoint.  Even from our crammed viewing area it was impressive.... the next trip there will be to see it from the Opera House! $500 but will be worth it i reckon :P Anyway as with tradition i have several writeups to do... including of course the Sydney trip. 2011 looks allready set to be a year with the makings of the 1990s in there.  Winter especially will see a return to those days where i never dressed up, was big, listened to lots of metal, went to da gym and did blokey stuff.... including a welcome return to widgets and toys like RC cars etc... may even get back into RC car racing.. especially if mates are keen.  The latest craze for me is RC helicopters... both of mine are broken at da mo though lol
