Winter, sorting stuff out

Been quite into the gym as of late.  Definately been into it more since Devon joined up.  Now i tend to either go in after work (bout 1pm) and do a small workout focussed on a single muscle group OR do the group classes with Eva in the evo.  In da weekend i usually have a much longer workout, this is when Devon comes as well.  I'm still on a da big side at da mo.... this ain't a problem for this time of year for me cos once i get back into kiting i will be glad i have a bit of padding on me... but definately once it warms up again i will want to lose weight.  Still at 85kgs... spending quite a bit on going out... but gradually tightening the belt in that area... i don't believe in going "cold turkey" unless you have a very strong willpower... which i DON'T lol. Work is going well.  Been on the drive out runs since i've been back.  No new runs for quite a while now.  Jan was the last time i did a new run and that was for 53 (bucklands beach etc)....

2003

The first day of 2003 started with me going to my uncles place to go on his boat.... this was the ONLY time i've ever been wakeboarding... which i found easy due to my kitesurfing skills... basically they are the same thing apart from the obvious difference between a boat and a kite.  After that i immedaitely went kitesurfing once i got home.... infact the first two days were holidays for me... and i kited them both... great time.  2003 started well!  infact 2003 was the year of the kite for me.... no other year was i ever so into my kitesurfing like this amazing year... 2005 came close but not quite. In 2002 i was a right winger... gutted that national got thrashed in the general election.... couldn't stand labour despite being on minimum wage.... however i also didn't buy into much of the media hype that many right wing scare mongers spewed up... especially concerning the alleged laziness of certain ethnic groups.... my personal experience at jobs totally showed these...

2002

This year had the potential to be one very very busy year.... i basically wanted to be superman by getting really good at all the sports i was into... which now included kitesurfing, surfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding and kitebuggying.  and i also wharfjumped, hung with several mates like Ryan, Stipe, Josh and Andrew.  I didn't hang out with Josh much that year though and the following year wouldn't hang with him at all.  However hung with Stipe lots and was still a huge fan of the WWE.  My main interest though was definately with watersports... was still windsurfing at the start but all forms of windsurfing would cease from August onwards.  Didn't go surfing or bodyboarding as much either as in previous years but went buggying quite a bit... infact this had the potential to eclipse kitesurfing as much easier to setup and less condition dependant etc. As for work yea this was a time of upheaval for me... but it started ok.  unfortunately i swapped from gr...

2001

2001 was the year that i genuinely got into kitesurfing.  in 2000 i tagged along with Alan to a couple of events but in 01 i just wanted to do it for myself... so now i was windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and bodyboarding.... not to mention working fulltime at maccas. so yeah i was busy.  I still hung out with Stipe on a regular basis but slowly and surely the addiction to kiting would take hold and by the end of the year i had taken up yet another sport.... kitebuggying. As for work it surely had its ups and downs.... definmately more fiery than in 2000.  i mostly worked graveyard shift.  it was a year that the church sed that something big was gonna happen... I didn't go till right at the end of the year but Stipe told me at da start.... but allready this was an interesting year for me with a phenominom called "antithing".... as opposed to THING which was a fear of "dying" (forces from within killing me)... this was a fear of "being killed" (forc...

BACK AT WORK... A DAY EARLY HAHA

Yep Liz rang me to ask if i wanted to start a day early.... so i sed yes lol.  nice day today... the rain eased and all that gym work is paying off!  Found it easy today despite gaining 5kgs over the hols... most of that was fat too :) Yes the holidays were very lazy indeed.  They started with a hiss and a roar with me writing down what i planned to get done.... started with a trip to Waiwera after the first week decided to chill cos a lot of my items on my list were the local fast food shops... and i was feeling very unhealthy indeed... so once i decided not to complate the list i lost all drive... and chilled the rest of the time hehe.  Still i got quite a bit of the list accomplished and as a result was all ready to dive straigt back into work again. The plan obviously at work was to be quiet.... was yet another fail at that.  i doubt i'm really gonna do a complate turn around and go totally emo and quiet.. instead gonna moderate a bit... but of course mo...
