Most people freak about the prospect of working through the summer holidays but this time round i'm actually having more hols than normal... i had boxing day off this time... i didn't last year and i have new years day off AND the day afterwards.... didn't last year lol. I was working big hours last year too.... this year i'm not. This year has been an interesting one..... done things i have NEVER done before and that job change was long overdue imo. This year has been VASTLY different from the 10 years of seperation (when i was coccooned in a vortex of windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing) that occured from 1997 to 2007.

It has been DEAD since xmas. I'm bummin around. Everyone else is BORING. No-one wants to do ANYTHING despite everybody on holiday... apart from me that it is lol. But that's wot happens when your a bum... you don't wanna work... and then you don't wanna play. I work 6 days a week so i have to get off my ass every morning and cos of that i'm used to getting off my ass for other shit too... like kitesurfing and gym etc lol. Not that it's windy at da mo lol... or busy for that matter at work. End of month we allways get innundated with magazines so that will take the gloss off the end of year a bit but i've been told that it's 11am finishes for da next week or so.... but do i believe that? no cos i'm too slow hahahaha. Like my kitesurfing i've hit a platueau at work... i can't seem to get any faster.. i wanna get DAMN fast but i'm peeved that i'm still slow. Infact i'm peeved about a lot of things hahahahaha...... mostly in...

Well Christmas absolutely ruled.... it was EXCELLENT. Da whanau is as cohesive as ever and it was great to see the neices and nepthews as well. Chatted to supergran as well... allways good to talk to people like her... btw she's dad's mum.... Initially we had a big lunch at Mum's place and then headed over to Uncle Ed's place for a BIG feed and just chilled out... yeeeeeeeeeeeyaaaaaaa. After that it was a chance to catch up with mates like Jaxx and Bex via facebook. Bex is back in the loop and we both wanna meet up in Jan and she could be goin to da Piha waterfall. A group of us may be going. Other things we may go to are Ghengis Khan, Night out at Cock n Bull, Rockclimbing, Starbux, Wharfjumping, Gr8 Satan and of course Piha hee hee hee. As for kiting Bex, Elise (my neice) and her boyfriend Jono all wanna get into kiting. I don't normally make new years resolutions a huge priority but this time round i will be. One door closes, another opens. Jazz is goin to OZ, but Andrew is a free man (from wrk lol). I'm looking to organise several trips to Piha this summer. Depending on whoz keen of course but there are several people who could be up 4 it. Eva, Andrew, Bex, Duffy and Devon are all potential goers and an outside chance of a mix of clans... ie EGS hangin wiv da Muskateers. I've allways pondered bringing my friend groups together cos i have several clans of mates... EGS consistgs of guys like Andrew, Raymond, Craig, Sajin, Tania, Josh etc. Mucksteers consists of former Maccas workers like Teena, Eva, Jaxx, Duffy, Calvin, Bex, Devon, Shell, Stevie, Karlana etc. I've hung with muskateers mates HEAPS during the last year, its eclipsed everything including my kiting and i still like hanging with these guys as they are lots of fun... they party, drink, flirt etc lol and like chillin out. LOL no sooner do i pledge to get back into kitesurfing and everyone else is keen on stuff lol. Last nite went over to Tania's place and had a feed with her and Andrew. Tania of course is Andrews girlfriend who is 12 years younger than him lmao. But honestly dude she's really cool and suits Andrew perfectly... a match made in heaven... into outdoors too in a HUGE way. So yeah great to catch up with those two and find out that firstly Andrew will be staying in NZ next year which is great news cos thats one less of my mates who gonna be gappin da scene. Secondly is that he's gonna be unemployed from the 23rd of Dec which is great news cos he doesn't like engineering jobs and i can hang with him more too.... and i reckon Tania will be happy too hahahaha. So yeah looking to do heaps over da summer with people like Andrew, Grant etc and hopefully da muskateers as well. Another CNB outing may be on da cards... watch this space. I did NOT go kitesurfing yesterday as i decided to stay at Jaxx's place instead. Went for a swim too and then off to mum's place. Despite me saying that i'm back into kiting it was only cos of the lack of interest from my nonkiting mates to do stuff... citing lack of funds as da reason. But anyway the only 2 reasons i origionally stopped kitesurfing in da first place was cos io fort Devon was moving in (i wanted to clean da place up lol) and i was hoping to spend as much as possible with people like Jaxx, Bex, Andrew, Eva, Duff etc... not to mention the family (cousins, mum, dad etc). Devon ain't movin in anymore and my mates aren't keen on doin much so hence the reason for my return to kiting. But yesterday people WERE keen on doin stuff so that took precidence over kiting... so yeah i'm still keen on hangin with my non-kiting mates but hey u snooze you lose lol... if you don't get in quick (if you wanna hook up an outing best time to txt me is whilst ...

Barry's birthday at Ghengis Khan was excellent last nite. Instead of hitting da main course i concentrated on entries and then tucked into dessert. It was just the 6 of us. Jaxx, Barry, me, Vikta, Paige and Tyler. As for today i will prob do some kitesurfing... day off work btw. off to parents place in da evo... mmm i'll prob be quite busy lol.

Yes people i allmost decided to pull out of Ghengis Khan on sat nite but Jaxx pleaded with me to go.... so i'm going! hahahaha. i gotta admit that my opinion of Barry has worsened since Sunday in regards so it seems to him not wanting me to visit once they are in OZ. I'm not fully convinced that this is genuinely the case but Jaxx isn't exactly denying it... and if there was any doubt then she wouldn't hesitate to deny things lol. Jaxx also said that i'm coming over whether Barry likes it or not lol so i guess no issues in that area hahahaha. But anyway i WILL be goin over in Jan of 2010 cos if not to see Jaxx then to see Luke... i'll be back into my kiting remember. so it looks like my first ever kitesurf outside of NZ will take place in just over a years time... should be fun. Sunday was a lazy day for me lol. Spent it with Jaxx. Met Jaxx, Barry, Tyler and Paige at starbux at about 10am. Also bumped into an old friend of mine... Peter Lowden. He was with Shona and his two little girls. He just moved to da Naki but is back in Akl for a holiday lol. Obviously a few names here to get used to but just for some imfo... I first met Peter in 1989 at da Halfmoon bay motel... They were there from chch and we were there from wellington. we were both moving into the area and would end up living in da same street for several years before we moved out in 1995... apart from childhood friend Alan McCartnie (who i haven't seen since 1992) me and Peter go back further than any of my other mates... even long time friend Tim Friedel... although i see more of Tim than Peter and Tim still holds the prize of being my longest freindship where we still hangout on a regular basis. Ok i'm off to the doctors next week to have a worrying sore checked out on my face. It's just below my left eye. I have no idea how it got there and it isn't healing. I saw a little blister appear at the top of it which is what has made he take action. The sore itself stings a little when you pick it. It is not a mole... infact if you weren't looking for it you'd never even notice it but being quite vain at da mo (i'm hanging around with lots of chiks at da mo lmao) i'm infront of da mirror lots lol. The sore itself doesn't bother me... at da mo. I just wanna see what it is and sort it if it's what i hope it's NOT.
