LAZY SUNDAY
Sunday was a lazy day for me lol. Spent it with Jaxx. Met Jaxx, Barry, Tyler and Paige at starbux at about 10am. Also bumped into an old friend of mine... Peter Lowden. He was with Shona and his two little girls. He just moved to da Naki but is back in Akl for a holiday lol. Obviously a few names here to get used to but just for some imfo... I first met Peter in 1989 at da Halfmoon bay motel... They were there from chch and we were there from wellington. we were both moving into the area and would end up living in da same street for several years before we moved out in 1995... apart from childhood friend Alan McCartnie (who i haven't seen since 1992) me and Peter go back further than any of my other mates... even long time friend Tim Friedel... although i see more of Tim than Peter and Tim still holds the prize of being my longest freindship where we still hangout on a regular basis.
Anyway after having a feed at starbux i went to Jaxx's place and chilled htere for da rest of da day... got heaps of footage of pool antics... Jaxx posing lol (those who know Jaxx know what i mean lol). I was bascially still posing as well... but instead of a bikini i was in my dressy longsleeve shirt and long pants and sunnies.... i'm startin to dig da sunny look now. I'm quite vain at da mo... combination of hangin around girls a lot and the fact that i'm not kiting so appearence is everything at da mo lol.... don't worry i'll be back to normal next year. I have a lot of sun damage around my eyes so covering it up is the single biggest step i can take to making me look younger... see told you i was vain!!! lol.
But it wasn't all about covering up... i was in da pool lots and i was back to my stock dress of boardies and nothing else hahaha... so yeah swappin from one extreme to the other and back again through out da day. i'm still slightly sunburnt... speaking of which i may or may not go to the doctor about that sore by my left eye. it's sorta hardened up... doesn't sting now so maybe just a genuine sore as opposed to something much more sinister... but i may go see da doc anyway just to find out how hard it is juggling this sorta stuff around my job.
Sat nite i'm going out with Jaxx's family again to Ghengis Khan. It's Barry's bday and i like ghangis khan. I've been there twice before... My farewell party in August and Jaxx's bday in late september. Jaxx's family are all shifting to OZ next year... Jaxx's wants me to come and visit but Barry seems to be hinting that he doesn't want me to come over... dunno for sure about this but you know me i seem to take hints even when they ain't there. I plan 2 head over to Gold coast in Jan of 2010 for a holiday lasting several weeks. I have a mate Luke who also lives there and will visit him when i'm over there... especially if its clear that Barry doesn't want me to visit. Luke kitesurfs and i'll be bringing my toys with me whether i visit Jaxx or not lol.
