ok its the end of 2009 NOT 2008 haha. but at the beginning of the year i sed i was gonna writeup 2008 but never did. So i'm doing it now. Anyway 2008 was the year which i transitioned from a kitefreak to a social freak... it was also the year where i changed jobs. This was without doubt the highlight of the year for me. But it wouldn't have occured if it wasn't for me getting pissed off with kiting... and maccas. at the start i was a kiter.... but Jaxx and i were starting to become quite good friends and her and i started to hang out more and more. When she started at maccas pakurange in April that was the turning point for me... as was becoming a manager. I had sorta lost patience with Aucklands often annoying wind and were keen on change. Unfortunately my pet peeves never leave me... and before long i was feeling left out from social outings etc. Struggling with this foreign state of mind (before then i didn't give a crap) i found it hard to concentrate on my j...

ok its up and running... me and Jaxx are friends and all the pet peeves of the past have been sorted out.... let not anyone else ruin it!!

sorri bout da whinge but just had to get that off my chest... thats what a blog is for haha. i won't mantion the 'J" word (Jaxx) on here anymore until the friendship is either fully dead (officially ended) or its alive and kicking again. mmmmm i timing. Anyway yesterday had a gr8 time with family down at wattle downs. spent the whole day with family and just relexed really. it lacked the rowdyness of last year when we were at uncle Ed's, teenagers there last year... none this year and i was quiet and relaxed. Eddies son is cool though... 5 year old Edward... loves cars hehe. lots of food... damage to the waistline was nowhere near as high as predicted and next year i do plan on changing quite a few things... being quiet and more "studious" are amoungst some things i wanna introduce into 2010... so there is a chance that i could get quite skinny and finally have that 6 pack break through the belly fat

Ok Since my last wroteup i have not done any kitesurfing... prob cos of lack of wind... but no real hurry... will be doing more kiting next year especially once the cooler weather returns. the last 3 days have been the best summer weather i've seen this season.... hot and sunny with no wind... so yeah perfect for kitesurfing.... NOT. Christmas Eve was the last day of work for 4 days. Spent the remainder of the day hanging with Jaxx (starbux) and then Eva (shopping for her party l8r on that nite). The party itself was gr8 with heaps of food.... unfortunately some ppl took expection to my execptional karioke singing... i won 't name names but lets just say that some ppl are more fun when they are drunk.... and this person was sober tonite. 2009 has a been bad for the friendship between me and this person but one thing it lacked was a verbal spat. this year its been more facebook and txt whereas 2008 there was more face to face action.... enter midnite 24/45th december and we...

ok guys i'm gonna try and get back into kiting again.... what happened tonite has forced my hand... it NEEDS to happen. i will worry about a kiting addiction if/when it occurs..... thats no reason to put it off any longer.

The food last nite at da nzpost outing was divine... that pork... omg da crackling!! hehe :) :) pity my karioke didn't go down as well... ppl certainly couldn't stomach my origionality which has basically put me off being outgoing anymore... some ppl just can't chill out... if you don't like me being wild and loose then maybe you'll like me being a quiet introvert... hahaha u can all goto hell. seriously though the origional plan was to quieten down once i started nzp.... ok it didn't work.... yet but what a gr8 opportunity to try it out now.... i personally don't think there is any reason to be an extrovert anymore. quiet and eating... that is the plan

... literally. interesting time since i last updated. Jaxx has proven to me that she is extremely dumb by chasing a $2 ball off the musick point cliff! She fell 15 metres and came to rest in some trees... lucky for her cos landing on da rocks would have killed her. i allways knew jaxx was a dimwit but this took the cake. lucky for her there were heaps off ppl nearby to help. she suffered a concussion and is taking 2 weeks off work. i was very mad that she didn't take my advice and stay away from the edge of the cliff but bloody females don't listen to me.... hopefully next time she will.... but i doubt it lol. anyway rewinding to a week ago i did end up going to starbux with jaxx and her friends... allmost didn't cos i was peeved that no guys were coming... decided to go in the end and it turned out to be a good time. Anyway had a work bbq on tuesday.. having the official xmas outing tomorrow nite... and then on tuesday a feed at valentines with team pakuranga. Thin...

and it wasn't even my plan to go oldskool just yet... was gonna wait will later on next year. the uncontrolled swearing on facebook pissed off quite a few ppl and i'm such a loudmouth at work... and there i wanna be quiet and fast... something i am NOT at da mo haha. Visited Bex yesterday. she's well up da duff now... her baby is expected in March. Outside chance her and i could start hanging out again next year.. making her the only girl in the muskateers clan with Jaxx and Eva leaving. Speaking of which i'm meant to be having starbux with Jaxx and Bex 2nite. Def a last throw of da newskool dice... this summer is def now stealth mode.... very stealthy now.... covering up heaps over summer... don't think i've been this white at this time of year.... i cover up on da bike, going out... everywhere. doesn't matter if i wear flash stuff or scruffy stuff... so long as i'm covered up i'm happy lol. With Tasha on holiday i'm now back on 42 at work....

Ok guys its summer again and my hayfever is in full swing... but my pills are working fine. After a desire to go oldskool i found that it worked TOO well so have now decided to go NEWSKOOL and attempt to be real quiet... easier sed than done. Still real rowdy at work and have an outing at Sau's this arvo... hopefully i behave myself lol. The official NZ post outing is on da 19th and dunno if i'll go yet... you can bring one other person... partner etc.... i've asked Jaxx but yet unsure as to if she wants to go or not. Barry too has a bday soon and hopefully i'll go to that too.... dunno when or where that is... infact haven't heard anything from jaxx.... but last year it was about this time... infact it clashed with da 2008 post outing. However the friendship between me and Jaxx has shown signs of life.... dunno if this had anything to do with my desire to "oldskool it" but 2 days of quiet between us two prob suggests not.... and in light of her reque...

I met Stipe in 1995. Definately one of the most eccentric friends i've ever had. like other members of EGS we hung out lots in the late 90s. however the big year for us was in the year 2000.... i went surfing with him heaps after Maccas graveyard shift... huge trips up north in what was my best ever year for surfing. as of late we don't hang out much. Stipe and his equally crazy brother Elvis live just down the road from Jaxx... despite being worlds apart in personality. Certainly a chance of us hanging out again in the future.

Ok part of the muskateers... well she sorta joined later on. We met in 2006 at maccas. the first experience i had with her was on guyfawks night 2006 when she wanted to go to EB with me. Now knowing her reputation as a bit of a slut back then i was a tad worried that she was gonna hit on me... i needent have worried... instead of going in my car as feared i met her at EB and she was with her BF Devon (who is now one of my best friends and gym buddy). 2007 between us was very very quiet until she was asking Blair about me on bebo. blair of course is one of my kiting m8s... gr8 kiter btw. in 2008 we started hanging out occasionally at the start... starbux with teena, eva and jaxx i think. but July onwards she was one of my main contacts and from then on shes been on of the main ppl i hang with.... and until just recently we've been gr8 friends. In July however she too started to have issues with me and vice versa... prob cos we hung out too much and the last 2 months have bee...

i've actually known Craig since 1991 so along with Tim has been one of my longest friendships. started hanging out lots in the late 90s where he was part of our faction known as the eastside god squad.... basically we were all single christian and male and did everything from surfing to wharfjumping etc. craig took up surfing in 1997 but like myself he never really grasped it. he did occasionally go windsurfing with me in 1999 and in that year he introduced me to Sajin (his mate from tech). In 2001 he moved to Sydney OZ but has made several visits back to NZ since and we still keep in contact. We will prob allways be friends.... like Tim this friendship is on a good foundation and distance once again is keeping it intact

andrews brother. we met in 1996 at st johns church. we hung out lots from 1997 till 2003 as we went bodyboarding and surfing (1997 to 1999) and then kitesurfing from 2001 to 2003. infact Alan actually was the person who got me into the sport of kitesurfing. in 2002 Alan met susan and this sorta eventually got Alan away from kitesurfing... despite Susan herself being a kiter. Alan hardly ever kites now and we haven't seen each other 4 ages... although more recently than Josh. so yeah part of that clan of christian single males that i hung with in the late 90s... oh the good old days.

Ok this is without doubt one of the wierdest friendships i've ever had. the only thing we have in common is the fact that we both love food... and back at maccas in 2006 that was what got our very interesting friendship started. Jaxx and Eva and Bex were part of the reason for my change in personality from april of 2008 onwards. that fact that i would dress up to go to starbux with Jaxx (jackie) WHEN IT WAS WINDY sent major signals that i had changed. In a way this still happens but far less often now than what it did in 2008. Now this friendship certainly wasn't without its flashpoints. from May 2008 i started getting envious of her popularity and saw her as a RIVAL. This still continues to this day but in 2009 things died down heaps. When i landed the job at NZP i had planned to slowly distance myself from Jaxx (i was able to now cos i wasn't seeing her everyday at maccas where she was still working). I saw her as a threat to my previous lifestyle and that she was ...

I met up with Josh in 1995 at Manukau Tech as we were doing the same course. Religion also had a part to play as we were both christians. From 1995 till 2000 it was basically me, him, andrew and craig. We hung out lots. every week in 1996 me and Josh used to go rockclimbing and bowling etc and we even went to skycity in October of that year... my only ever visit to a casino. the four of us had lots in common. young, single and christian we hung out lots. this was before andrew got a girlfriend, before Craig went to OZ. in the 21st century the friendship fell away and from 2005 onwards i haven't heard from josh at all. No way on contacting him as he moves house quite a bit. i know he's still around as one of his mates in on facebook. Josh however isn't on FB as far as i'm aware.

Me and Andrew started hanging out in early 1996. We have lots in common, bodyboarding, electronics, religion etc and for the remainder of the 1990s me, him, Josh and Craig used to hang out lots.... great times. From 2000 onwards our group sorta fell to bits but me and Andrew have been gr8 mates ever since. In 2007 Andrew got a girlfriend called Tania and this definately put the brakes on us hanging out lots. At the mo Andrew is overseas but will be back in January. We certainly don't hang out often now but still do especially over summer as he's in to many of the sports i'm ino... rockclimbing, buggying, wharfjumping etc.

I've been friends with Tim since 1992. Me met at church and he found out i was keen on RC car racing... (that was what i did back then). I never thought for a minute that we would still be gr8 mates 17 years later haha.... but its happened. it certainly wasn't allways like that... for 3 months in 1995 we didn't speak to each other cos of "minor religious matters"... thats all i'll say haha but basically i was being a real idiot... as i did back then. l8r on that year Tim left the church and in 1996 got into surfing. He of course got me into it... well tried to but i wasn't able to handle myself in the waves and prefered going either by myself or with Alan. Tim is extremely confident and assertive and whilst i never really liked going surfing with him (we was way too out of my league in da waves otherwise i would i would have loved surfing with him) he did start the ball rolling for me in watersports.... surfing, then bodyboarding... windsurfing and th...

mmmmmm hahahahaha a lot of stuff has happened. i bought another car... a jeep actually lol. it goes great too and that means i can sorta take the pressure off the sentra a bit... get some work done to it etc. unfortunately though the suzuki jeep i bought doesn't have a towbar on it so using it for work is gonna be a problem if i'm on a driveoutrun... which i am expecting to be on when i get back to work in 2 days time. ok i didn't do much kiting but never intended to.... as mentioned before i'm refusing to hardcore get back into kitesurfing... definately not yet anyway. will still go out if great conditions but certainly not living at da beach thats for sure. will give the muskateers as much time as i can over the summer in one last throw of the dice. The muskateers of course are the guys i knew from maccas.... Jaxx, Duff, Eva etc. what happens over summer will basically dictate where things go next year. things are slowly parting between me and the origional m...

oh well i know that i have issues but at least i now know that they certainly ain't caused by my job. never thought they were but the fact that i still have these rejection issues on holiday means that my job is fine. anyway as mentioned before i'm on holiday. now imo some of my friendships are THIS close to ending. its apparant that some ppl have issues with me but of course they never tell me. If they are true friends then you'd think they'd tell you but i guess they're not true friends so i'll leave it up to them to sort their shit out. i have better things to do.... meant to be windy today of my mates that do care (and some of them are genuine) i got a haircut from Tim on saturday arvo. Tim is still keen on hanging out and he's great at cutting hair too. although i'm of the opinion now that my forehead MUST be covered cos it is UGLY... so next time Tim we'll leave the fringe nice and long... cheers mate. that basically all i'd change.....

well lets just say that i'm one pissed off individual with an attitude to boot. i was told by one of my female friends that i'm as moody as any chik... and that means i am MOODY lol. the thing is though that whilst i have chik moods i now know whats been causing it and have been dealing with it how a MAN deals with it... in other words ELIMINATE IT. i seldom go on facebook now... and then only to upload kite pics... its basically gonna be a kitesurfing site... i seldom look at other ppls sites now so i'm taking the "social" out of social networking hahahaha. the problem is definately facebook. not so much facebook itself... its setup brilliantly and its a good website.. but just the ppl that use it and everyones ego... bloody hell it pisses me off... so i'm out of there... kitesurfing only. the only exceptions are for mafia wars and replying to messages.... and those are rare. thios works out well cos i don't have to make another website for a kiteb...

omg Octobers been busy and chaotic and sometimes downright crap. My car got broken into in Grey Lynn. My friendships has been up the pole again and i've had my fair share of emotional fuckups. But work has been going good and i've had a few gr8 outings with Tim's mates, a work outing to paintball and a gr8 outing with Jaxx, Eva, Scotty and Devon just the other night. Kitesurfing has been dissapointing conditionswise but i've had a few good sessions in. got a new board too which goes great. but mentally i've been a wreck, very very very moody... maybe because my suspicions that ppl dislike me are now turning out to be fact. of course becasue of this i've been flying between all my mental states... trapped in the pop culture without the perks. as much as i like working at post i've come to the conclusion that it doesn't fully suit me if i was gonna become a full on kiter again so at the mo i've got to balance everything on a fine point... if i ge...

.... hmmmm me losing my favourite board has got lots to do with that as well. spring conditions - which are windy and gusty out east just do not suit a small board... i have two boards now... both require a lot of power from the kite which can be an issue at pine harbour where even in windy days the wind lulls to under 15 knots. i've had it with travelling after this... i left the board at Orewa. I'm fully kiting local now... which unfortunately is more suited to the bigger boards like the one i lost. I kite 3 beaches, Eastern Beach, Bramley and Pine Harbour... flat island is not suited to small boards because the beach just doesn't suit running back upwind... which i allways seem to be doing on a small board. i will be eventually blogging my kiting stories on a blog site made up by wellington kitesurfers. HERE THEY ARE... Sep 16th 2009: Ok i'm just about to head to work... on my way home i plan to get da WOF for my car. In other news i have a couple of outings planned. Soaked up da vitamin D yesterday.... da legs got some sun and i was able to get my vitamin D quota whilst earning money at da same time. Multitasking? hehe of course. This new skool style of thinking by me is just one of the insane things that brew in my mind.... i guess thats what happens when you spend most of the day in your own company. However yesterday was not all spent in solitary confinement... in a blast from the past me and Jaxx met at Starbux in what was a flashback to 2008 . no more vitamin D for me though... sunnies and long pants and long sleeved dresssy shirt.... mmm classic 2008 styles. hopefully this summer i wont get sunburnt the same. I know with my kitesurfing i allways have issues with da sun and my job is an ever present UV hazard but i'm hopefully learning my lesson and as a control freak the ever present fight to exert control over stuff is necessity for me... who has no other way of succeeding at life. things are allways changing and i have unorthod...

yep i've been on the new run for a few days now but i was back on 54 for a day by myself.... and that day wasn't without its drama as i had a complaint about me not delivering held mail on 31st august... it was a simple mistake and i was was annoyed with myself than anyone else was and just showed me that i'm really not quick enough for a run of that stature... well i am but i get jittery and take shortcuts and my organization suffered and a run that size will punish ya if you ain't on your game. Because of this i'm much more focussed on sorting fast which means a return to da mp3 player and yet another attempt at quietening down. With da switch to 49 i can sorta get myself organised as i don't need to rush as much... due to it being one of the smallest runs. both inside and outside this run is small, yet lacks the brutal hills of 23. my approach to this run is vastly different to 23. on 23 i struggled with the inside... but outside i went supersane fast. ok i didn't see that one coming. I was training someone on 54 yesterday. this means i will be going on another run soon..... i'm assuming it will be 49 but you never know for sure haha. in other news i am actually making some progress at cleaning up my house.... omg hahahahaha. my weight is still quite high... bout 83kgs... not quite the 86 that it was a few weeks ago but i've been bingeing the last few days.... i just love eating lollies haha but wouldn't mind shedding but of weight for da summer.

ok i've been told that tomorrow will be when ppl go on new runs.... dunno if that applies to me but alot has been sed in the last week about this. now origionally i was gonna go on a run next door to where i am in da depot... that would mean either 41 or 55. But now it looks like i'm gonna be on 49. 49 is pigeon mountain rd etc.... next door to 55 on the outside. It's also next door to my first run which was 42. infact this run used to be part of 42 when 42 was a BEHEMOTH. part of 42 broke away to become 49... the rest is the 42 that i came to know for 8 months. 49 is a very small run in terms of delivery points. its about 750. for a comparison 42 had 850, 23 had 920 and the current run i'm on has 970. 31 is the biggest run with 1111 delivery points, but its dead flat and being in edgewater (poorer than bucklands beach) the mail density is less and less magazines than 54.... still i've been told that even on a light mail day this run takes ages due to the ...

August allways feels like summer hahaha. The sun suddenly gets stronger, everyone strips off and you see white arms and legs reflecting the sun hahahahaha... i kid you not thats exactly what happens. NZ in August gets some pretty good heat goin as the eastern parts get da NW wind that sends da temp over 20 degrees quite often. I too are making the most of the sunny days soaking up as much of the UV as i can.... not to get a tan but more for vitamin D. i'm using my time delivering the mail to get my UV quota cos once home i'm covering up... this will stop me from getting fried especially once summer arrives. Had a nice thunderstorm last nite which was brilliant. Work has been interesting..... at times i feel like i'm being conspired against... reminds me of reality shows... you don't have to be crap to get eliminated, you just have to be the crappiest of the bunch... Lots of work, kiting, busy busy busy. doin pilates at da gym, lots of kiting and in the process of losing lots of weight for da summer. i've been bulkin up over da winter but with my job it should be easy to shed da winter coat so long as i resist da urge to eat da munchies lol... allways da hard bit cos i love my food lol.... junk food or healthy food... down da hatch it does lol. still on da big eastern beach run (54) but rumours of us being shifted around again in september... been told it'll be clockwise or anti clockwise which for me means either 41 (pak plaza area) or 55 (bucklands beach area not on peninsula). however with Andrea established on run 55 and it also being a "cutup" run (ie when we are understaffed we all do that run ontop of our runs) there is also the chance of me doing the western side of the peninsula (run 53). I currently do the eastern side. like 54, 53 can also get heavy mail being a rich area but it is smaller than 54 so is usually not...

Dunno what i've got. A cold, flu... maybe even da swine flu. Feels a bit too fluey to be a cold although no real fever as such... but slight aches. Pretty knackered and snot production in full swing lol. as i never go to doctor for things like this i'll never ever know what i really had so no "fuk yeah boi i had da piggy germs hehe" from me. best remedy for stuff like this i've found is rest rest and more rest, lots of water and food. I've found i can "ride da germs" in order to lose weight... but of course to do that the food i eat has to be healthy lol. so yea i'm just chillin and getting better... well tryin to lol

Last month of winter but allways feels like spring for some reason. Spring of course for me is the windy season in Auckland which of course means kitesurfing. In work news i've been told that in a months time i'll be changing runs... this could mean that i finish earlier as the run i'm currently on is huge. I'm still focussing on admin stuff at home (as opposed to kitesurfing and socialising which i tend to do more in spring (kitesurfing) and summer (social outings). Then again i've been going out lots over the last couple of months but just relaxing at da mo. Been kiting quite a bit too. If its gr8 conditions close to home then i'm kiting... no matter what time of year.... but better conditions more likely in spring and autumn.

Someone has been trying to destroy the friendship between me and Jaxx. Someone doesn't like me.... someone failed miserably hahahahahahaha. I got to hear of it, jaxx got to hear of it and as a result the friendship is alive and well. A computer hacker (i won't mention any names) got into her facebook account and deleted me from it. This guy also deleted me from every other "tite5" fb site (the "tite5" is jaxx's socalled groupies hahaha). Of course i assumed they deleted me and they assumed i deleted them. Anyway i'm now back on all but one of their sites (this guy was one of the tite5 and he is blocked from my fb site). This was the best attempt yet at someone destroying the friendship between me and jaxx. This guys undoing occured when he sent me an abusive email and accused me of hitting on jaxx. Hey ppl its me again haha. In more muskateers news... i've added Catherine as a friend on facebook.... now all she has to do is accept. Catherine as you may be aware is Jaxx's sister and we were good mates until she started talkin shit about me in order to destroy the friendship between me and jaxx. I allways liked hangin with cath and she can't destroy the freindship between me and jaxx now becasue thats allready been destroyed (not by cath i mite add) so that means that i'm all keen on being caths friend again. but all that depends on how she accepts my apology haha. In da meantime i've been deleting all da pics of Jaxx on my computer and facebook. There were lots of them... we hung out quite a bit and at da time were good friends. It all started with me doing on msn... found some spam sent via a couple of mates... and i know they didn't send it. so i put two and two together and assumed that i'm prob unwittingly spammin my mates as well... so i deleted all my contacts.... i then proceeded to delete my bebo site... which is basically kaput anyway... and then sed on facebook that i would be deactivating my site there too.... jaxx then txt me asking if that was true and i sed it was.... i then got a reply on fb from Adam saying that i'm just trying to get attention and that jaxx is busy. Been goin out lots this week. Jungle world is the new venue of choice now along with xtreme. Jungle world is a minigolf place and it kix ass... plan to go here quite often. xtreme is another place with its bowling etc.... UV light makes everything thats white glow.... so i wear my black n white long sleeve shirt i got a few weeks ago... yeah mate all dressy again lol. went to both places for Devons bday along with a Korean resturant and of course Eva's favourite place..... kfc lol. I hang with this crowd quite a bit now.... these guys are not ex maccas workers.... just friends of Eva who i met on our Piha trips at the start of the year. Infact i hang with these guys now more than i hang with jaxx... who i saw on the way home from bowling.... she was working at valentines. Jaxx has her place to herself at da mo and i went over on Tuesday nite to watch man vs wild... we are both big fans of Bear eating bugs etc lol...

2 weeks now since my holidays finished.... startin to taste success on run 54 at work. torrettes not as ruthless as before da hols... my decision to bring my mp3 player to work is paying off as i can zone out to heavy metal as opposed to the distractions of rustling letters and crappy radio stations in da depot. the biggest challenge to me is keepin da batteries topped up and becasue of this i may get a more convenient mp3 player like an ipod... someone at work even recommended i get one lol. the mp3 idea works great becasue it shuts me up, i go faster... hey everyones happy lol... no wonder they recommending me getting one that doesn't run out of juice halfways through my letter sorting... anything to shut me up... lol. in other news i've been going out HEAPS with Eva and her mates.... Jaxx has been largely out of da scene until last nite when da 3 of us had tea at her place and then went to da cock n bull. unlike last time however i was very subdued this time round... infa...

Hey hols are allmost over. afta da weekend i have one more day off... monday... and then back into it on tuesday. lol the hols have been gr8. about to head out kitesurfing rite now. bought me another kite as well so i'm stoked. battle battle battle getting everything clean... allways a fun task... and i mean it too. i love da seasaw battle that is housework. i actually enjoy it... like workin its something that needs to be done and being single i do both the workin and da cleanin, cookin etc etc etc... oh yes and da KITESURFING haha

...... but they will NOT be moved to here.  I'm moving my archived blogs offline and my kitesurfing blogs will be goin onto da kitesurfing website that i'm check out every now and then.... haha now its occasionally the odd month or so but back in 2007 i was on it every few minutes lol.... just goes to show how much i've gone off kitesurfing in the last 2 years.  My websites too will be goin offline so apart from facebook and bebo this will be the main online network for me and my stuff haha.  i may startup a website at a later date but not at da mo.... as mentioned before i'm gonna be spending much less time on da internet.   The hols are goin well..... on da internet lots haha..... going to da gym lots too and plan to kite if da wind is good.

Yep off work for da nest 8 days... the last 3 days since my last writeup were a mixed bag.... but all had one thing in common... l8 finish inside.  Friday the torrettes wasn't that bad but still finished last lol.  Saturday it flared up again but decided to impliment something that i'm hoping will work once i get back..... silence... didn't say a word lol and skipped the half hour break.  that meant i was NOT the last out... although it was close hahaha.... oh and i've found my mp3 player too... something that i desperately needed whilst sorting the mail. then i can REALLY zone out.  I'm happy with how i'm going outside... infact more than happy... i'm stoked.  I'm not saying i'm supersane fast but its just really enjoyable out there.... not the issues i face inside. so what do i plan on doin over the holidays?  um well nothing hahahahaha.... nah dunno yet but hoping to lose some weight... i've ben eating LOTS of junk food

.... like very soon..... 3 days to go.   And to be honest they are needed.... my torrettes has been playin up on this new run.  Outside is fine but inisde sorting da mial i'm having major issues when da torrettes affects my hips... totally throws concentration and its been a nightmare.... as a result i've been playin catchup once on da bike... which of course i don't like... so i do what i do best and chill out..... its a kind release once on da bike.... fresh air and no torrettes issues... infact the torrettes sometimes becomes an ally with the energy and frustration translating to speed and power once pedalling.  Ok i've been on the big 54 run for 2 weeks now and its definately a monster but very pleasetn... i love da fact that da car is the centrepiece of this run...... i'm so over biking out to runs now, unless they are very close... like 23 and 36 (the run that we normally divide up when we are short staffed).  I've been finishing late.... easily going into...

Lol i'm on da new run... and yes it's run 54... brilliant day for it today too. excellent views of Tamaki estuary and Eastern beach.  Hard to gauge as to how big da run really is cos it was a light day today being da first day of da week... and this run is known for having lots of mail... and i drive out too.  one of the big benifits of this run is the money that comes from having petrol allowance etc etc.... although i'm expecting Saturdays to be the bogey day on this run... more so than the others i've had... although i'm on this run at a good time of year... winter shld limit da crowds at EB.  Kiting will be interesting..... if i'm able to really get some speed going then i'll be able to go to da beach strait from my run if a NE wind.... sweet!!  unlike 23 though i'm not gonna go supersane quick every day.... it's a better run for chillin out... like 42 although for da sake of training i'll be honing my skills as well... once again like 42.  b...

Yep da cold season was trumpeted in with a crisp cold southerly and a cloudLESS sky lol.... yep wall to wall sunshine.... but yeah its a tad on da crunchy side in da morning... infact this is basically as cold as it gets in terms of temp in auckland.  dunno wot da temp is but if its close to zero degrees then yes thats as cold as it gets lol. Just about to head off to work for what will be an interesting few weeks becasue change is in the air.  Apparently they will be changing my run again... i'm all good with changing runs on a frequent basis becasue it trains your body and mind to adapt real fast which is what i'm after.  Oh yes and i'm gonna be on holiday in 2 weeks time which is gonna be interesting.  I've been told that i'll be changin runs when i come back... where i go is uncertain..... a few posts ago i was told that it was gonna be run 31 (Edgewater area) but now they are hinting at run 54 (yep da biggie Eastern Beach... in allround terms its the beastiest ...

23 is different to 42... faster but harder. Not really a run for cruising.... to make the most of this run it needs to be done fast. I'm also changing my weight plan..... last time i sed i was gonna gain weight with both muscle and fat but now it's just gain weight with muscle in order to keep dead weight to a minimum. the focus is still on legs and maybe some hill climb practice at da gym but also plan to do da "Junior workout" and do the odd upper body stuff as well... not much... just some bench at da gym and arms etc at home.... don't wanna bulk up in upperbody though. I can now sort da run fine inside too. Glad i'm faster now cos on Monday i'm planning to meet Jaxx, Devon, Eva and Mel for lunch at valentines... this will depend on wot time i finish of course. Mondays is normally quiet...... but nothings certain in this job lol

This past week i've been sorting da mail on run 42 and delievering run 23. Well tomorrow onwards i'll be fully on run 23. initially this will take a while as it takes a while to know where all da streets are when sorting... so da tactics mite need to change for the time being.... mite be chillin a bit more as opposed to tryin to break da land speed record. btw i had my first day at da gym for several weeks.... workout has changed somewhat.... i'm after leg strength and bulk for da winter. i'm eating lots and putting on weight... both fat and muscle. I'm at da heaviest i've been since 1994.... allmost 84kgs and just under 15% bodyfat. The two kingpin workouts i'll be doin are my leg workout and da "Junior" workout... named after da trainer at Moore St fitness who showed it to me..... it's tough and combines power with anerobic with sizeable core component.... i find this too extreme in da summer so only do it in da cold winter months... my ...

Ok firstly i may be on holiday in June for about a week. Despite the fact that normally you can't claim paid leave in your first year of working at post i have been told that i can take a week if i want to... so i am lol. just need to apply for it now. in other news i mite be changing runs...... again. this is fresh of da press today lol. i was pretty surprised when i heard it as i haven't even properly started this other run yet. Ok just to avoid confusion i will refer to da runs by their number. I was trained on run 42 (prince regent) and have been on there since i started (about 8 months). Recently though they have been moving me over to run 23 (Abafeldy... near highland park). This entire week i've been delivering 23 but have been sorting the mail on 42. 23 is shorter, quicker but hillier than 42 so it requires a change of tactic for me. with 42 i chill quite a bit as its quiet and peaceful but with 23 im after speed.... da hills tend to pump me up and the mai...

On may 4th 1999 my mate Stipe rang me up to tell me that another friend Justin North had died whilst playin da computer. Since then alot has happened and thinking about this sudden passing 10 years on and remembering a gr8 mate and someone who we hung around with quite a bit at church. I admit to having all sorts of mental states after i heard da news... even jealosy and i didn't goto his funeral... something which i prob should have done. in da years that followed my life did change somewhat... i lost weight, started maccas and suffered several bouts of anxiety.... dunno if the anxiety was da result of Justins death or not. I was into windsurfing at da time but as you prob know i'm into kitesurfing now.... amazing what happens in 10 years as well.... friendships have ended... many others have started.... but ppl loike Andrew and Tim have been friends with me before Justins death and are still friends with me to this day. Others however have not lasted..... Josh Hercock.......

Mmmmmm lots has happened since my last writeup.  Work has has had its fair share of Drama..... fair to say that the sooner i "shape up and shut up" in da depot the better.  i tend to talk too much... especially on bigger days... and it was big this week and i finished late every day.  But it was outside where the real drama happened.... 2 incidents with dogs.  both unrestrained and not fenced in... one actually chased me but i was on my bike so outran it.... the other involved a stand off with the bike between me and the dog.... textbook postie training i mite add.... it works.  this is rare out my way especially as these dogs are on my run and normally restrained or secured.  i'm pretty chilled about this and won't take action unless i'm bitten..... and i'm unsure if they were plannin to do me harm or not as they didn't look like they were in attack mode.... although i didn't hang around to find out i mite add lmao.  You do get the occasional dog prob...

Yea mate da name of my blog.... cos its bout da happs... anyway here is da happs hahahaha At da mo i'm just about to get ready for another 150km bike ride... well 6 rounds of 25km to be exact hee hee... expecting a busy week dis week in the mail thang... end of month is allways busy, heavy, long etc lol but so long as da weather doesn't pee on me then its still very pleasent.  infact Autumn is very pleasent time to be a postie... the heat of da summer has gone, no hay fever or relentless wind that spring dishes out and at da mo its still not cold and wet.... mmmmm expecting that to change in da next few months lol... although i could be surprised.... i have found the most unpleasent conditions to be from da north due to da rain... thats the only real genuine rain we get in akl.  the classic SW airflow that we tend to get most of the time... especiall in winter and spring brings mostly squally showers, sun... etc etc lol.  showers last a few minutes at da most and then its sunny...

Mmmmm holidays ended abruptly when greeted with a wall of letters on  Tuesday morning.  normally the first day back at work after time off is very light.... but on Tuesday i finshed at 3:45pm... making it my second latest finish since i started at nzp... my reigning day is still that whopper i had on da 20th of Sep last year (4pm finish) when i had to miss on the start of Mansfields stag party.  This time round was gonna visit Bex at her new flat but decided to cancel.  However since then its been quiet... today and yesterday i've been finishing b4 the scheduled time of 1:30pm.   next week has more time off with ANZAC day so its been sweet at post l8ly.... but aware that change could upset this balance.  but until bad things actually happen i'm not making any moves to suppliment my income with Burger Fuel or any other normal part time job.  however i still plan to take up kitesurfing teaching over da summer.... especially if i can fully nail my mail runs.... at da mo i'm st...

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.

as with da changing of the seasons the storms of change are darkening my personality.  but bad weather ain't the reason.... actually the weather has been quite good lately.  But bad attitudes towards me by a "sizeable" crosssection of society has forced me to get out da middle fingers and start pouring many glasses of "fuk you" juice.  From old skool traditional bitchbeefs from places like the church/kitesurfers to more recent attitude from randoms, maccas and even nzpost i am keener than ever to adopt this more darker, quieter, more mature persona. however for those who are my genuine friends i'm still a happy dude so don't worry too much if i consider you a friend.... if you ain't a friend... well i don't give a rats ass bout you anyway.... i divide ppl into 4 groups..... friends/family, randoms, snobs, enemies.... every single person on earth fits into one of those groups... which one do YOU fit into?   but it ain't just my personality tha...

Firstly... yes i've started da new run.  I feel like a noob again but hoping that i get up 2 speed super quickly. wanna take measures to ensure this.  i will have a different attitude to this run than what i did with 42 (prince regent). Went to velentines last nite.  Jaxx works there now and loves it.  She had finished by the time we went there.. but she did pay us a visit for dessert.  Me, Eva, Duff and Devon went.  I took huge exception to what happened at the end though involving Devon and to be honest don't mind if i don't go to anymore outings with them because of that incident.  other than that it was excellent.

ok a heads up on da happs.... Firstly i've been swimming with tim on the odd occasion... no kiting for ages but i have been to a few social outings with Eva etc. Went to a Japanese place on sat nite which was expensive but good. Quite dressy too. Also had a few bbqs with some of Eva's mates... even the odd drop of alcohol. This sat nite we are planning to go to Ghengis Khan which of course needs no introduction. The recent trend as of late is my old skool mates mingling with da muskateers. Tim has been doing it and on sat nite Andrew and Tania joined us and they really enjoyed it. In saying this though i'm still keen on traditional pasttimes like rockclimbing, swimming etc... and omg EVEN kitesurfing.... which has fully taken a back seat at da mo but there are plans to get into that more this year... just depends on how things plan out... on FB i mentioned the "faceoff"... just another one of my wacky schemes... will it work? fuk me i have no idea hahahaha...

Nothing is happening tonite. no bowling, no fish n chips. Jaxx is at a friends bday and until she double booked da plan was to go to CNB tonite. Then of course me, Eva and duffy decided to organise our own little outing which was bowling and fish n chips. This of course has not eventuated because Eva isn't returning any txts... leaving me and duffy with nothing to do lol. NOW on the side of all this Tim floated the idea of a comedy outing. and until he got this idea he too was gonna go to CNB with us. anyway he's been asking Eva about goin to comedy outing but the price of tickets sorta put is off. i wanted something cheap in order to get ppl like Duff and Bex along. Now whats happened is that the comedy outing is goin ahead (its on now) and if i had known that Eva was gonna desert us (she's prob sleeping lol) then me and Duffy could have gone there with Tim and Grant. Oh well i guess next time i'll go with Tim and say "to hell with everyone else" lol....

Infact he wanted me to tag along but the cnb outing was allready sorted and Jaxx's friend is only up this weekend from Hamilton and Jaxx wanted to take her out. Duffy is also a maybe but he's not returning txt's (which means he's run out of credit again lol) he'll need to contact us on facebook if he wants to come. this time round the plan is to go earlier to have a feed there as well... but will also be staying for the dancing, drinking etc. The plan is also to go in one car... and it looks like it WON'T be mine. Jaxx wants to take her car and last time me and Duffy had problems getting in so i certainly don't want a repeat of that... cos i'd have to deal with it myself this time round.

wot a week 2 be a postie hahahahaha. Sorted da men from da boys... dat weather was extreme... no real storms but them temps were all over da show. For the first 4 days we were in sultry city. Monday saw me having to ease back on da ridin cos of lack of food and heat (humidity) stress. Tuesday was muggy but bearable as i went slower. Wednesday was BRUTAL... lack of sleep combined with a heat index over 40C (heat combined with humidity) made it HARD YAKKA. Thursday (which was da day where da temp allegedly hit 34 degrees) was comparitively easy as humidity was lower (but still high). Friday was da easiest day of da week wiv mild, windy (spring like) weather. And Today was the opposite end.... raining and FREAKIN COLD!!! i was doin exactly the opposite to what i was doing to combat wednesday. I coasted lots on wednesday to generate breeze.... today i was purposely riding against the brakes to generate bodyheat to avoid going fast and generating apparant wind which would have chi...

Da social calendar has been chocka block... last week saw a car club outing with da whanau, a night on da town, and then a Piha outing. That last Piha outing was da first ever without any oldskool mates... all muskateers related mates this time round. starting to see a mergin of my oldskool and muskateer mates now as Tim is starting to get to know people like Bex and Eva and Tim has allready met Jaxx over da net... but not in person.... YET. This could all change on Saturday nite when Eva is planning a valentines day outing.... in da arvo and evening. It is expected to have 3 guys and 3 girls attending.... Me, Tim and Duff vs Bex, Eva and Jaxx lmao. The venue is yet to be decided but ideas have ranged from Fish n chips, Ghengis Khan, Valentines all the way up to the Orbit lounge on da sky tower. Some of these outings sounds flash and chances are i'll be dressin up for the occasion even if we have fish n chips lol.... Fri nite got me back into some of the antics of 2008.... th...

Hey been at Jaxx's pool quite a bit l8ly.. on Waitangi day too as i couldn't be bothered driving up to Mangawhai heads to go to da kiting event there. I did however try my luck at EB in da morning but it wasn't very good. Anyway went to jaxx's place after that. Eva and Bex also came along and we all swam. After that me, Eva and Bex meet Tim and Grant in da city and we went to da buskers festival and the lantern festivial. Had a great time. Anyway today i'm off to Piha today with Eva and Duffy... just waiting for Eva to wake up lol.

Waitangi Day tomorrow and that means i have da day off. As for tonite i'm off to a car club meet at Botany again. Went to one of these before in November last year.... same story this time round... evening at Cock n Bull and then hangin with da fam. Tomorrow i'm heading up north to a kite meet at Mangawhai Heads.... this was the group on facebook... should be fun, even if not any wind... which unfortunately looks more and more likely to be honest. a few days ago it looked like da 6th of Feb was gonna blow strong ESE... but now looks sunny and sea breezes. but there will be food there... BBQ and a Hangi yum yum yum
