HARD SLOG BUT HOLS SOON

.... like very soon..... 3 days to go.  

And to be honest they are needed.... my torrettes has been playin up on this new run.  Outside is fine but inisde sorting da mial i'm having major issues when da torrettes affects my hips... totally throws concentration and its been a nightmare.... as a result i've been playin catchup once on da bike... which of course i don't like... so i do what i do best and chill out..... its a kind release once on da bike.... fresh air and no torrettes issues... infact the torrettes sometimes becomes an ally with the energy and frustration translating to speed and power once pedalling.  Ok i've been on the big 54 run for 2 weeks now and its definately a monster but very pleasetn... i love da fact that da car is the centrepiece of this run...... i'm so over biking out to runs now, unless they are very close... like 23 and 36 (the run that we normally divide up when we are short staffed).  I've been finishing late.... easily going into overtime.... which is gr8 cos of da $$$$$ hehe.  Gone are the 11am finishes that i had when i was doin run 23.  I often divide 54 into 4 parts.... and can do them in any order becasue my base point (the car lol) is at centre of da run.  I didn't realise i'd enjoy this run so much but at da same time it is big and occasionally wouldn't mind an early finish :).  But the only constant is change and in a months time chances are i'll be on yet another run.  Runs of interest are....... 41, 34, 36..... not saying that i'll get these runs but they are da ones with features that stick out.  41 is the one that has lots of shops.... it also includes valentines... whr jaxx works.  34 is da hilliest run in pakuranga (23 is second btw)... but some say that da hills on 23 are harder than 34.  36 is da run right beside the depot... its long but very flat.  Another run of interest is run 35.  It gets lots of mail being a rich area but includes Bramley which of course is where Jaxx lives.... would be a very nice run to do.... very quiet and prob a bit of over time as well i'd imagine lol.

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
