FRIENDS - Jaxx

Ok this is without doubt one of the wierdest friendships i've ever had. the only thing we have in common is the fact that we both love food... and back at maccas in 2006 that was what got our very interesting friendship started.

Jaxx and Eva and Bex were part of the reason for my change in personality from april of 2008 onwards. that fact that i would dress up to go to starbux with Jaxx (jackie) WHEN IT WAS WINDY sent major signals that i had changed. In a way this still happens but far less often now than what it did in 2008.

Now this friendship certainly wasn't without its flashpoints. from May 2008 i started getting envious of her popularity and saw her as a RIVAL. This still continues to this day but in 2009 things died down heaps.

When i landed the job at NZP i had planned to slowly distance myself from Jaxx (i was able to now cos i wasn't seeing her everyday at maccas where she was still working). I saw her as a threat to my previous lifestyle and that she was turning me into a pansy. But Jaxx was so keen on keeping the friendship going that i abandoned the idea of keeping my distance and we continued being gr8 friends till the end of 2008. This was despite a very difficult August 2008 for both of us. in october of 2008 she broke the news to me that she was moving to OZ and i was gutted as a result.... it was then i thought that ok its time for our friendship to slowly end..... but it kept goin ahead at full throttle and the remainder of 2008 we had a gr8 time.

However in 2009 things started to change. Facebook can take the blame for destroying our friendship although in 2008 facebook didn't play any part. in 2009 though facebook saw a nasty sibling rivalry start between jaxx and cath her sister.... the "horsey set" got involved and saw this as a great opportunity to pry me and jaxx apart and for the whole of 2009 had this goal in mind. as a i wrote this in november 2009 i see gaping wounds in our friendship as a result of facebook. we are certainly still friends but hardly speaking at da mo.... certainly mistrust from my side but with summer just around the corner i am still hoping that we can sorta make things up. we will prob allways be friends becasue our friendship is wierd and for that reason alone it should be kept going as a souvineer. also its a good opportunity to do the fingers to those who have been trying to pry us apart. But its a crash course in being friends with girls... they whinge about the smallest of things and get extremely petty..... no wonder i choose to stay single lol
