Christmas

Ok Since my last wroteup i have not done any kitesurfing... prob cos of lack of wind... but no real hurry... will be doing more kiting next year especially once the cooler weather returns. the last 3 days have been the best summer weather i've seen this season.... hot and sunny with no wind... so yeah perfect for kitesurfing.... NOT. Christmas Eve was the last day of work for 4 days. Spent the remainder of the day hanging with Jaxx (starbux) and then Eva (shopping for her party l8r on that nite). The party itself was gr8 with heaps of food.... unfortunately some ppl took expection to my execptional karioke singing... i won 't name names but lets just say that some ppl are more fun when they are drunk.... and this person was sober tonite. 2009 has a been bad for the friendship between me and this person but one thing it lacked was a verbal spat. this year its been more facebook and txt whereas 2008 there was more face to face action.... enter midnite 24/45th december and we haven't spoken since that incident. That was dissapointing as it wasn't really Jaxx's fault...it was more her workmate that pissed me off when she told me to "get off the stage"... but Jaxx did seem quite unenthusistic to sing, dance with me (i do remember asking her but she never sed i did) and that lead to the argument as she was leaving. But other than that it was a great nite and as far as i know Eva and i are still friends lol.

Going back to the Jaxx situation i've found the biggest factor in 2009 has been the lack of "fun" that me and Jaxx have. last year we danced, sang, posed and were basically being stupid... CNB nov 2008 was a great example. However this year there has a "coldness" between us... we know know each others "darkside" and that will prove fatal for our friendship cos unlike Eva and my male friends we have nothing in common that can save it and many factors this year have eaten away at out once gr8 friendship. This latest incident between us was not caused by facebook, it was not caused by catherine, it was not caused by Adam, Simon or any other her other lameass friends... this was something new, out of da blue, unexpected and to be honest i've had enuf.

With Andrew just arriving back in NZ the other day (we goin wharfjumping in about 15 minutes) and friends like Tim, Scott, Devon and Eva there seems to be little point in trying to keep a tired old dead friendship going between me and someone who i have absolutely nothing in common with. there will sorta allways be hope until she leaves for OZ... its up to Jaxx... if she wants to hit the ball back then i'm up for tennis but it doesn't look like she wants to play the friendship game anymore..... i could be wrong... i HOPE i'm wrong but in this instance i think i am finally correct. prove me wrong Jackie... prove me wrong haha

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
