pearler day on da bike

Soaked up da vitamin D yesterday.... da legs got some sun and i was able to get my vitamin D quota whilst earning money at da same time. Multitasking? hehe of course. This new skool style of thinking by me is just one of the insane things that brew in my mind.... i guess thats what happens when you spend most of the day in your own company. However yesterday was not all spent in solitary confinement... in a blast from the past me and Jaxx met at Starbux in what was a flashback to 2008 . no more vitamin D for me though... sunnies and long pants and long sleeved dresssy shirt.... mmm classic 2008 styles. hopefully this summer i wont get sunburnt the same. I know with my kitesurfing i allways have issues with da sun and my job is an ever present UV hazard but i'm hopefully learning my lesson and as a control freak the ever present fight to exert control over stuff is necessity for me... who has no other way of succeeding at life. things are allways changing and i have unorthodox ways of doing shit.... today i plan to buy another kite although as yet i'm not exactly fully into my kitesurfing.. but at least the stage is set for a gradual increase in kitesurfing over the next few years. Friends will marry off, travel, move, have kids etc. I recognised this ages ago and in the last year or so its starting to happen. I have several friends that are gonna be "leaving the scene" and as i prepared for this ages ago i expected it and even welcome it... you can't change it so best to learn to take advantage of it..... the advantages are clearly obvious..... MORE KITESURFING.

i expect that in 5 years time i won't be friends with any of the ppl i'm friends with now... except for two... Tim and Grant. I don't mean enemies i just mean not keeping in contact.... as has happened with Josh. We used to hang from 1995 to 2005... but since then we haven't spoken to each other... we never fell out, its just we drifted apart.

i will elaborate on this in the next writeup.

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
