BACK INTO IT

Mmmmm holidays ended abruptly when greeted with a wall of letters on  Tuesday morning.  normally the first day back at work after time off is very light.... but on Tuesday i finshed at 3:45pm... making it my second latest finish since i started at nzp... my reigning day is still that whopper i had on da 20th of Sep last year (4pm finish) when i had to miss on the start of Mansfields stag party.  This time round was gonna visit Bex at her new flat but decided to cancel.  However since then its been quiet... today and yesterday i've been finishing b4 the scheduled time of 1:30pm.  

next week has more time off with ANZAC day so its been sweet at post l8ly.... but aware that change could upset this balance.  but until bad things actually happen i'm not making any moves to suppliment my income with Burger Fuel or any other normal part time job.  however i still plan to take up kitesurfing teaching over da summer.... especially if i can fully nail my mail runs.... at da mo i'm still slow and hence venurable.

I'm slowly making a return to kitesurfing.  In view of the issues with ppl at da mo from all areas of my life (post, maccas, church, kitesurfing etc) a good session out on da water is all the more sweeter.  no friends needed when out having fun..... from what i see there are two ppl who actually enjoy hanging with me.  Sajin and Grant.  Sajin unfortunately lives too far away to hang around with much.  Grant on the other hand is someone i hang with lots.  like me he likes nothing better than getting out kiting or kayaking etc.  one of da few kiting mates that i hang with off da water.  you notice your real friends when the others make excuses not to hang with ya.

i did mention b4 that there are 4 types of ppl in the world.  1) friends, 2) randoms, 3) snobs, 4) enemies.  lets just say that i'm finding out that category 3 is growing at a very fast rate!

i'm also having second thoughts on the OZ trip next year... infact both of them.... was gonna pop over to Sydney for new years to hang with Craig but that looks unlikely now.  Also unlikely is the kitesurfing trip i was gonna do in Gold Coast in Jan.  Reason being is that i have NEVER been in a plane by myself b4.... so unless i go with someone then chances are i'll stay at home lol.

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
