sun sun sun is all i can report... not much wind so no real testing of the kites.  ive been lazy to in regards to fixing the 5 broken kites.... as far as im aware 3 of my kites work....5 dont but 2 of the working kites need to be tested first to see if they actually are working. But i do have my main board sorted so i am sorta sussed for next session... bring on the wind. Another problem has been my job... harder to get time off now that im in Botany team... the flipside is that the money is better (due to more work of course hehe) so that means that when the need arises i should be in a better position to buy some more gear... but at da mo im more interested in fising my current gear as now that my boartd is working i should be covered for most conditions... hence i dont see the need to spend 3  grand on a new kite just yet.... which is good cos i dont have 3 grand at my disposal lols

I will need to test them but yes had some success with the quick defate valve on one of my 11m kites. this kite hasnt been worjing in several years and when it did work it was great for classic eastern beach conditions... steady winds in the 10-20 knot range. At the other end of the spectrum my top range kite is ready to test with a new set of bar and lines. This should have me ready for those 30 knot days. So i now have 3 kites that should work... and they are perfectly sized for the winds i kite in.... the biggest of course is my 21.5m which is strictly a light wind kite and only for steady benign days. it can be used up to 20 knots but is best in 10-15. for light and gusty days i can use my 17.5 which is quicker turning and can be used to 25 knots but that needs to be fixed. had my line snap on one of my kites mid jump thw other day at EB. kite powerlooped dragging me towards tthe beach... fun fun fun but scary and rams home the point of making sure your gear is in working order. most of the kitesurfing fatalities are caused by either the weather or equipment failure... not pilot error... well unless you call kiting in a thunderstorm or with defective gear an error... which i do... its a big mistake imo. anyway i have 3 main boards... 2 of them work... so in short most of my gear doesnt work... no surprises there. so in short heres the damage stats.... 7: need to test new bar n lines 7b: torn sail 9: snapped bridle 10:traling edge torn 11: deflate valve detached 11b: middle strut burst 17.5: leading edge bladder burst 21.5: WORKING :) haha my biggest kite is working and its quite windy today. hey wtf? this aint a kiting site...this is DA HAPPS. yep da KITING happs :p Cummon you dont wanna read about all my ramblings on about meaninless drivel allth...

currently on holiday from work.... goin back in 3 days time... allready had a week off. my weight has BALLOONED to 88.2 kgs... this is the heaviest i have ever been. i was 81 at the start of the hols haha. its been a busy hols though... done plenty of kayaking and kitesurfing... had to get some new gear for my kites and yes im broke as a result. the jeep is basically dead and my computer is.... still dead yippee. more about my kiting antics on my kitesurfing site.

Well since my last post I have basically cooked my own goose. lots of ppl doubt my assertions that it's God that's telling me to walk away from dramas. well ok maybe it's not God but I'm doin it anyway.... I lost my temper and as a result smashed a frying pan. I have decided to fully disconnect myself from the last 3 years.... It's the only way. I didn't start the war... Having issues trying to delete this page. In the meantime I'm still posting. Thinking of moving house and even changing jobs to fully cleanse myself of the last 3 years. God is so keen on having me destroy any trace of the last 3 years that he sez not even my job is safe. moving house may automatically mean changing jobs... Not cos of financial reasons but because the next house I get will certainly not be in Howick... You can't get a dog kennel for under $400 grand out this way. Anything with room and a section will be far too expensive and hence I'll need to had out west where I know there are big houses in my price range. If I move then getting a transfer in post shouldn't be too hard. Beach lands is another option.... Still too expensive for a stand alone house but I mite be able to get a bigger unit for less than $400000. You may think this is a bit harsh but the bible did talk about cutting arms and putting eyes out if body parts cause you to sin. This is on...

Alarm clock failed to work.... Woke up by myself at 645.... still managed to get to work before 7 but I like starting early... As I've changed teams again the starting times are now very cruisy. In Howick the starting time was very strict, in Pakuranga everything else was strict... In Botany it's cruisy... Everyone is chilled... And plenty of work too so the money is rolling in.... What's more it keeps me away from home more so I don't have to contend with dramas there. However today's plans have been screwed up a bit due to my late rising... Will have to drop my car off to Bruce after work. I believe gods telling me to do some serious changes to my life... Looks like the last 3 years are gonna be wiped from my existence.
