1986 mk ii

ok now where were we? thats right Europe! :)  ok on leaving America we headed to England (landed in fog lol)... and then crossed the english channel (from the white cliffs of Dover) and headed to Belgium (or was it France?  where is Calais? cos thats where we took the ferry to haha).  lol i can't remember precisely where we went citywise but we went on a tourbus to several countries... France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, Austria.  What i noticed about Europe was the beatiful countryside and the fact that heaps of things are really old.... In the Vatician we saw Pope John Paul II and hung around with a dude that hangs with the pope on a regular basis lol.  Went up the Alps in Switzerland up a cablecar and went through the clouds (it was overcast) and ended up in crystal clear blue sky and snow everywhere.... majic.  Europe is an Amazing place and to be honest is leaving the rest of the world behind not necessarly with technology but with sustainability.  Lots of places in Europe rank the lowest in the world in regards to CO2 emmisions... especially in the western world.  Places like Sweden and Norway have the highest living standard in the world.... the vikings definately know how to run a country.

Anyway after Europe we stopped off at Singapore en route to NZ.  Singapore is another one of those super rich nations (like Ireland, Luxembourg, UAE etc) and when there we found it had the heat of hong kong and the cleanliness of Japan... immaculate.  One more stop on the way to NZ was Perth (airport lol).  Don't remember much there but were there for several hours.... apparantly it was 9pm, temp was 33C, but what i do know is that i wanna return there one day cos the place kicks ass for kitesurfing (well thats what i've been reading anyway :) ).

Anyway after Perth we went to chch (back in NZ now) and then to akl and stoked to be home for christmas woop woop
