A lot has happened

Firstly Eva and i are friends again... and we basically resumed where we left off... no ill feeling at all... no "reunions" as has happened before which is excellent.  Of course this brings with it problems especially to do with my weight... which after plummeting to 78kgs has now risen to 83 again courtesy of a feasty halloween and guyfawks... as these are "planned events" i'm not to worried and as long as i keep away from our previous haunts then i should lose weight again... still on for 73kgs for the OZ trip at the end of the year... thats if i go.

huh?  yep thats right... i mite not be going.  i've booked the flight and accom but now i hear that i am NOT guaranteed the time off despite putting in for it well in advance.... because of this i have not booked the second OZ trip (the kitesurfing one in Queensland) until i know i have it off.  All is not lost.... although not guaranteed the time off there is still a good chance i will get it off.... its a quiet time of year for mail and only 4 ppl have put in for hols... which we can handle at our depot.... of the 4 ppl who put in for time off.... 2 of them in theory would be more likely to miss out than me but you don't know for sure... favouritism can play its part and if they do get it and i don't then of course i will automatically assume that and as a result will not be happy... especially as i would get no refund on my ticket.  if that happens then the beast will awaken and i will change my attitude quite a bit... but fortunately this is unlikely to occur and i think i'll be getting my time off.

halloween was spent having Stipe around for food and metal... classic halloween celebrations for me... with a christian twist.. all the heavy metal was christian.

guyfawks was spent at scotts and lots of fireworks... got some great footage too... will be uploading it to my FB page and youtube as well

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
