Return to kitesurfing put on hold again

Was gonna return this week but financial issues and the usual issues with my kitegear have stopped any return to the sport which once dominated my spare time.  The upcoming summer break for schools plus the warm weather has traditionally put me off kitesurfing over the summer and this year is no exception... hopefully instead i can put the time to good use getting my gear sorted for a return in Feb when the school kids go back to school.  I am meant to be changing mail runs next month (we normally have 3 months on each run)... my current run suits VERY small hours... ie me giving work away but cos of a crazy budgeting system schemed up by me in an effort to slowly wean me off modern technology... i decided to crank the hours for the most part... finishing late as a result.  However next time round on that run as well as for the rest of the week i know what to do.  Anyway this NEXT run is another TYPE 1 or "small hours" run... TYPE 1 runs are when i dont stick to the budgeting scheme mentioned above (at the start the required expenditure for the budget is too high for working low hours).  TYPE 1 normally means that id be finishing early and going kitesurifng but cos of school hols in Dec and Jan i wont be doing that... instead will be doing elevated hours (when conditions permit) and concentrating on getting things sorted at hme with kites etc.  This of course has all been brought about by the latest dramas and me seeing now a genuine need to change the company i keep.  Major envy problems amoungst certain members of the socalled "Tribe"... something i never ever had to deal with when i was kitesurfing.  This plague wont go away... so IM gonna go away.  The decision has been made and now its final and in concrete.  As i sed before its not just the "big 4" that are possessed by this domino sin (once envy sets in the rest of the sins follow suit)... other members of the group have issues as well.

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
