the Elections

believe it or not I intend to base my employment of the next few years on the outcome of the elections. If the right wing national party stay in then I'm staying at post for the time being. However if it goes left then I'm gonna leave as well. Either way I'll be staying put initially but I plan to get back into kitesurfing if the left wing Labour Party get in. If I get addicted to kitesurfing again then I'll need to change jobs as the big days at post now are unsuitable to kitesurfing. Let's be honest here BOTH avenues will involve a job change but under national it won't be happening as soon and will involve me getting to lawn mowing or something. under Labour I'll be eyeing up my old haunts... which worked well with kitesurfing.... nighfilling at a supermarket or flipping burgers at maccas. Job changing like this I've deemed too risky under a national govt which basically says "fire at will". Labour have allways protected workers better... hence the name.  Anyway even under Labour I plan to stay at post until my current hobby (sorting the house) has been mastered... by the time that happens the next elections will have rolled around LMAO.  These new hours at post have completely destroyed my friendships... I've decided for the most part that it's not feasible having friendships with ppl all the whilst I'm working these big hours at post..
 Things just get in the way... and to be honest the groups GONE... its shredded itself... KAPUT.  Either way I can't associate with ppl now... I've decided to put the old dog down, been sick for a while. With the exception of s few ppl who I hang out with for "business purposes" I don't hang out with the others due to assorted reasons.... but mostly work.  the old "guilty of association" clause is now going both ways too. Ppl shunned me cos of relationship breakups... one side suspected me of associating with the other so neither side wanted to hang out.  Oh well I guess I'm allowed to apply these same principles to other friendships... it's not just work.... but mostly work.

Anyway that's basically all that's been happening... just me being a recluse... getting more and more reclusive every day. Even if Labour get in I won't be hanging with ppl as I'll be getting back into kitesurfing... and once that happens it's BYE BYE friends haha.  

Anyway I'm awaiting the results... it's all about which side the nationalist centre party NZ First wants to side with. My form of lot casting haha

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
