the middle 5 years!

 yeah its finally being written up.  decided I had best write it up soon as we can then see how 2020 compares.  anyway...

NUMBER 10: 2013:  at the time 2013 sucked... of course... it was the worst year at that stage... but unlike more recent years it lacked serious issues at home... in fact one of the few years involving tenants that didn't result in me evicting anyone... I think 2019 was another such year.  but on a bad note the rot started happening both with my job, my finances and my weight... this was the first year I was a legit fatty... in fact as far as im aware I hit my heaviest weight this year at 95kgs.  the highlight of the year was of course the Queenstown trip for my brothers wedding.

NUMBER 9: 2017: the best of the recent years so far... largely due to lack of any major bullshit... and unlike other years no dramas with tenants... see how major this is a factor... that said work was causing issues.  this was the year I had made up my mind I wanted a change.

NUMBER 8: 2006: a year almost completely devoted to kitesurfing... lack of any real excitement in the year puts it down the list compared to the likes of 2005 and 2007 and especially 2008... which despite having some right royal bullshit was also entertaining.  one of those bland years... if you call kitesurfing every day bland.  

NUMBER 7: 2008: started off kitesurfing... finished off with a messy transition to nzpost from maccas.  was also the year that I started socialising lots... and getting grumpy when I couldn't.... in fact had a 2009 feel to it... petty stuff.  however the exit from maccas was messy with a false allegation making me go nuts... but once at nzpost things got really good!

NUMBER 6: 2012:  only just edged out 2008 for title of best of the rest and that's mostly cos it just had more excitement to it and SLIGHTLY less dramas... ie it lacked a job change.  had elements of 2011 to it and the long standing living arrangement at mine fell to bits at the end of the year.  also included was a a false allegation similar to 2008 (not work related though) and the first year I became a legit conspiracy theorist.  lots of things changed in my life that year.


so there you go its finally up.  I will add a 2020 writeup and then a ranking once 2021 rolls around.

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
