Traffic lights

 Haha yea know how much I love being stuck at intersections…. But alas I ain’t talking about intersections… I’m referring to COVID and the new system for managing how we live with Delta and now Omicron.  After the realisation that COVID is here to stay the new system is designed more for controlling foot traffic at stores etc and for those who haven’t had their two shots a red literally means STOP.  I think it’s a good idea as it doesn’t really affect places like beaches etc and for vaccinated ppl everything is open… just that precautions are taken in stores at red light setting like masks and spacing etc.   As mentioned before the vaccine is the centre piece of this new system and along w h scanning for contact tracing now we also need to be scanned for proof of our two shots.  The entire vaccine pass system reminds me of the WOF and rego system for cars… and like the WOF I’ll be fitting the boosters in with the expertly dates of the passes…. Yes they expire.  Now it will be interesting to see how long this lasts I’m assuming it’ll be until COVID becomes a much weaker Illness.  I’ll admit I’m not taking this  lightly… you are not guaranteed to survive a brush with this disease and the very different effects it has on ppl is in keeping with my feeling that it’s about how our immune system reacts to the virus… which is what concerns me… hence why I decided to get vaccinated.  

Things are largely back to normal regarding stores being open and work etc… which means the traffic is back to normal as well… not happy about that one.  I’ve definitely sorta rolled with the punches on this one and have definitely become more gentrified…. I’m looking older, feeling older and now acting older.   This whole vaccine thing has changed every thing.
