ok now where were we? thats right Europe! :)  ok on leaving America we headed to England (landed in fog lol)... and then crossed the english channel (from the white cliffs of Dover) and headed to Belgium (or was it France?  where is Calais? cos thats where we took the ferry to haha).  lol i can't remember precisely where we went citywise but we went on a tourbus to several countries... France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, Austria.  What i noticed about Europe was the beatiful countryside and the fact that heaps of things are really old.... In the Vatician we saw Pope John Paul II and hung around with a dude that hangs with the pope on a regular basis lol.  Went up the Alps in Switzerland up a cablecar and went through the clouds (it was overcast) and ended up in crystal clear blue sky and snow everywhere.... majic.  Europe is an Amazing place and to be honest is leaving the rest of the world behind not necessarly with technology but with sustain...

This was our last year in America.  In the summer hols  we went for a long trip... lots of travelling, being in a plane was normal for me and def no fear of flying thats for sure.  Our holiday was back to our homeland in NZ.  However we didn't go to Wellington but visited rellies in Auckland.  It was great to see the cuzzies again.  We were there for several week.... plenty of time to enjoy Aucklands very changable winter weather (NY weather was much more stable... it was either raining all day or sunny all day, in akl anything could happen lol).  Great to be back in NZ though, so different from America... way more relaxed, but akl was definately busier than Wellington though.  But our trip didn't end there...  Dad left for Hong Kong a week before we did. He met us at the Airport but first we had to get there.  We stopped at Sydney en route to HK but ran into difficulty cos of a little transformer toy that i had. it could either be a r...

.... hey hey i'm back haha..... oh ok i went to the cock n bull with jaxx (oh sorry we back in 2010 now lol).  hey hey heaps of fun... jaxx txt me to come outside... i went outside... jaxx was there all dressed up and i thought "yeah ok i'm keen".... so i had to put a shirt on cos they don't really let blokes in with jeans and a singlet (they let girls in dressed like that though lol).  I was still feeling a bit sick from eating too much at Duffs 21st (i'll update that later on) but i felt better once i had settled down and done some dancing.... those places are wierd cos i really don't like making eye contact with ppl there.... girls think your hitting on them and guys think your lookin for a fight.... but thats cool cos the rugby sevens was on so it gave me something to look at... thats when i wasn't looking at jaxx dancing with me haha.  lots of camera footage as allways haha.  had a great time and def wanna go again.  but i really need to get thinn...

NY temps varied a lot more than in wellington.  Some days were extremely cold... one day the high was forecast to be 9 degrees.  btw that is FARENHEIT... which is -13.5 C... that was what the HIGH was meant to be... so i guess that meant it was even colde than that.  We wetn on a school trip that day to a museum... i was fully rugged up in several heavy parkas and i was still cold lol... like being in a deep freeze.  But during a heat wave in Feb the temp hit 20 degrees C which is positively balmy.  i remember getting a blood nose cos of this... got several nose bleeds when i was younger... got them all the time (no they weren't from fights lol)... anyway back in a mo

No ambury farm today as it was closed and plan B also fell through i'm assum ing cos Jaxx's car failed it wof... um go figure she went to a vehicle testing station (aka vehicle failing station).  I stay well away from those things.  ppl often go to those places to make sure their car is perfect... but for those who know that their car is NOT perfect... like myself haha, we just go to the dodgiest garage in town lol.  i still think its the driver that makes a car dangerous... and its often the drivers of the "safe" cars that are the worst. Anyway finished the mail early today... on run 23 which if you can remember is the hilly, short run where my mum works at highland park.  There is talk at work of me being put onto a new run that i haven't done before... one thats more in pakuranga as opposed to bucklands beach... runs 31, 32 or 34 are on the list.  could very well be one of those.  31 is the longest, flattest run in the depot and often gets lots of lett...

oh dear i've been writing so many year by year blogs from yesteryear that i've negleted to write up stuff from the NOW.  Looks like the short friendship with a fellow post workmatge is now over.  Andrea just wasn't fitting into our little group that well and she was saying things to Jxxx and Eva which i really didn't find appropriate and at eating places she really was causing problems with me.  Infact there have been several problems within our group but it seems at da mo its all sorted out... well enuf not to affect me lol.  However between me and Jaxx the friendship has never been better.  Infact despite predicting that we wouldn't even see each other this year we are now hanging out on a regular basis... in the same vein as 2008 but without the problems.  infact we are planning to go to Ambury Farm this arvo after i finish work.  Speaking of which.... i gotts fly... got lots to write up but aklso got mail to deliver so see you guys later on

wahoo my first winter in New York!  mmmmm snow.  wow didn't realise snow was wet... then again that ain't a surprising considering it is water haha.  but mum of course had to clean and dry stuff after me and paul went out in the snow.  for mum it was less enjoyable and i guess for adults who actually have lives to live and places to be ppl to see then it could be of an annoyance.  driving was a mish in da snow... but not as bad as it could have been as Americian drivers are soooo much more courteious than kiwi drivers.  better driving over there was what mum and dad allways commented on. then again nz drivers are terrible... its well known... and back then it was no different than it is now.  but in general we found americans to be lazy and rude and back then we noticed a huge difference in their living habits.  kiwis had better manners, ate way healthier (so many fast food places in da states) and were way more active than americians.  I was...
