In Wellington at da mo.... got some pics to come

Interesting few months to say the least.  Concentrating on the big 3 pre apocalypse demons and how to deal with emergencies of police, fire and ambulance.  Always an art form trying to configure the house to sit each emergency.  Until recently it was a tossup between police and ambulance…. in keeping with the big 3… Home invasion, heart attack and house fire.  I’ve dealt with semis of all 3… near misses shall we say.  Had issues with miscreants early on in the year… they threatened me at my door… I called the police… same old bullshit… coupled with strict self defence laws common in western countries excl the US meant that the best option is to keep idiots OUT… hence the barricades I put up every night.  Ok so number one sorted… for the next 8 months it really was a tossup as to whether I risk a home invasion or imprison myself hoping that I won’t need ambulance for a medical emergency incl my number one pet hate… Heart Attack… now as I said I’ve had semis...

Yep still here.  The plan to get into Jim's mowing kinda fizzed.... KINDA fizzed haha. I will be updating this as more information unfolds but at da mo it appears that my little gamble hasn't paid off... It was worth a shot though and it hasnt totally failed yet.

ah yes.... having a great time in Wellington and took heaps of pics... but don’t wanna put em on Facebook.... but still wanna share them? Haha ok I’ll share em on here. Yep Welly trips going well.  Windy as allways.... as I write this it’s blowing it’s titties off... showers as well.  anyway I’m gonna be heading up to Auckland in a couple days... infact I’ll prob be arriving home this time Monday... but until then I’m cranking the rc cars and wondering if I should move to Welly.

believe it or not I intend to base my employment of the next few years on the outcome of the elections. If the right wing national party stay in then I'm staying at post for the time being. However if it goes left then I'm gonna leave as well. Either way I'll be staying put initially but I plan to get back into kitesurfing if the left wing Labour Party get in. If I get addicted to kitesurfing again then I'll need to change jobs as the big days at post now are unsuitable to kitesurfing. Let's be honest here BOTH avenues will involve a job change but under national it won't be happening as soon and will involve me getting to lawn mowing or something. under Labour I'll be eyeing up my old haunts... which worked well with kitesurfing.... nighfilling at a supermarket or flipping burgers at maccas. Job changing like this I've deemed too risky under a national govt which basically says "fire at will". Labour have allways protected workers better... he...

This is due to uncertainties over the switch to the new modes of delivery... Ie the electric vehicles.  I will be waiting until things get shite (if they get shite) before making any job changes... I have also decided to open my doors to boarders again... Nobody moving in at the mo and nothing may even happen but with Drea moving there will be a couple of ppl displaced and I have mentioned my keenness on having Andrea (not Drea... Her flat mate) and Josh move in... also on the cards is the return of Aston who was a good flat mate back in the day in 2011 etc when my experiences with boarders was much better than what it was on recent years.... However with him it's more to do with renovations than income as he's good at fixing hot water cylinders and mines in need of a new valve... Hence the lack of running water at my place.  At the mo I'm still living at mine by myself and at the mo enjoying it... Getting it cleaned up somewhat just in case ppl move in.... But no guarantee...

to celebrate my dads 70th bday... A rare excursion for me... I'm someone who normally has his hols at home... For several reasons... Lack of money and willing companions being two such reasons. Anyway no issues this time round and Taupo is very nice indeed... It does sorta remind me of Queenstown... The site of my last excursion back in 2013.  I've decided to have a relaxing holiday... And have turned down several offers to do stuff full of adrenalin... Like Queenstown there is no shortage of things to do here... Many of them involving copious amounts of our primal fight or flight hormone that pumps through my veins often due to panic attacks n stuff.... I'm no stranger to adrenaline but this time round have decided to take things at a slower pace. Anyway hope to get some pics of the lake at some time and will stick them on here.... Teehee...
