da happz

 Still in lockdown.  im at my front window typing this whereas im normally in my shed.   today I gave a nice view of the courtyard and waiting form thunder this arvo haha.  been gaming lots.... obviously.  Now as for the Wellington trip in October I dunno if im still gonna go ahead with it due to lockdown etc... we prob won't be in lockdown by then but will prob still be in elevated alert levels... maybe level 2 which mostly targets large gatherings... which off course I tend to stay away from anyway but might still be an issue regarding shops etc.  I will keep yas posted.  im off my main Facebook page at da mo... having a break from all the clickbait on there but have been on twitter quite a bit.  Still haven't set up my webpage... I used to be with yahoo until 2015.  pretty keen on getting back onto that again.  Anyway been cleaning my room... the front one.  might have play with the rc car later on haha.  may even update my ...

 It’s been a blast so far… lots of gaming and I’ve even done some work in the backyard.  Also been going for a few walks and nice to see ppl out and about doing likewise… haha walking in the middle of the road as sod all cars… required sometimes to keep distance from others.  As I’m not at hells or in a kitchen where closed shoes are required for safety reasons I’ve been rocking flip flops for nearly the entire time I’ve been in lockdown… I’ve forgotten what socks look like. I’ve sorta been lucky as it hasn’t been that cold so been able to get away with it whilst doing Heralds.   haha here’s to summer 😎😎😎😎😎🦶🦶🦶🦶

 Well what do you know.... we back in level 4.  The delta strain finally got into NZ.  obviously I agree with the decision to go to level 4... in Auckland its for 7 days... rest of the country is for 3 days.  got more time on my hands now so I can sort my social pages etc haha. The backyard is looking better as well... oh dear jobs are getting done ROFL anyway this time round I have internet... in fact fibre so plenty of gaming to do and tv to watch haha... but you know still gotta do jobs... and well as you know I deliver Heralds so as an essential worker im still doing that every morning... but not my other gigs like Hells Pizza and Uber Eats... or the lawns.

 haha yeah I miss 2020. Lockdown was sweet… haha who cares about all those ppl who can’t handle being alone… anyway my car Rocket died last month after deteriorating health for most of this year.  One of the things that was stopping me from travelling heaps (apart from the obvious ones of money and time) was being able to feed him as he was obviously getting on a bit in years (hence his “worsening health”… he was getting old).  anyway now that he’s gone I have less of a reason to not travel.  I’m talking about national travel here… within NZ as well borders are closed for overseas travel and for obvious reasons… this is the only reason why I would get vaccinated btw (yep that’s right I have NOT ruled it out).   Anyway I did eventually get to Wellington during May but didn’t stay for long.  I am planning another trip there but in the meantime I’m making other travel plans… Northland to see a friend… the first time I’ve visited her in her new place.  She...

 It was meant to be up north but decided it will be Wellington as too many clashes at the mo for north land trip.. firstly with my Herald boss being on hols, then next weekend it’s Mother’s Day and then the weekend after that my friend has got something on… so instead I’ll be trekking to Wellington to see my brother on the weekend of the 15th. It DOES however depend on whether I can get time off from work… both the Heralds and Hell Pizza.  Depends on the roster on Hells but will need time off from Herlads. 

I actually did get tested yday as I’m planning two trips next month.  I will outline where I stand regarding the COVID procedures that I outlined previously. TESTING:  I’ve been tested twice and plan to get routinely tested before every trip outside of Auckland... ie if I go down to Wellington etc.  I also get tested if I have cold or flu like symptoms. Both time’s I’ve been tested it’s been in the “off season” ie at times of low alert (lever 1) so yday I just drove up and got the probe up the nostril and within seconds I was on my way.  Of course the previous time I got tested it was cos I was sick so precautionary and it was at my GO as opposed to at the resting stations.   SCANNING:  I do this religiously as I have parents in their 70s that I regularity visit some I wanna know if I’ve been around ppl who’ve been tested.  A lot of ppl are concerned about their privacy yet are fine with paper trails due to cashless transactions.  I’m well aware o...

Had to postpone my Wellington trip due to the car but it’s all on for next month. Got several trips planned... one to Wellington and one up north.  Decided I’m gonna get a routine covid test before every trip I do just as a safe guard against me spreading any disease.  My attitude towards the covid stuff is what I would term in the middle.  I’m pretty strict on masking and tracing but obviously more against things like the vaccine... but even that I’m not 100% against.   So basically you got testing, tracking, isolating, preventing (masks etc)  and jabbing. All but the last one I’m fully into.   Anyway I still need to get ready for these trips and they will only go ahead if my hells pizza roster permits.
