DA NEW YEAR

2009 IS HERE people!! yeeeyaaaa!!!! Saw out 2008 sleeping lol but before then in went to visit a few mates who were camping at Omana.... something i wouldn't mind doin one of these days. Was woken up by fireworks 4 minutes into 2009... no worries... stoked to be in 2009. Had the first 2 days of it off and went mountain biking with Tim. I now have 2 bikes btw. The one i sorta bought as a desperate measure due to my car and my old bike back in sep 2008 and then of course the excellent bike that mum n dad got me for xmas and birthday. I now use "blue thunder II" for all my road travelling as it has thinner tryes, is lighter and allready has a drink bottle holder lol. The bike i bought last year (blue thunder) is now wot i use for off road. Thicker tryes, disc brakes etc... and thats wot i took out with me to whitford. They day was sharded between grandmas in da morning and Tim in the arvo. After mountain biking we went for a swim at big bucks and then had a feed of fish n chips at EB and Tim played his guitar.

yday was a much quieter day but mostly due to having to cancel a piha walk with andrew due to the weather. I ended up going for a swim at little bucks by myself.

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
