Another Parakai outing tonite

This will be my third hot pools outing this month.  A few of us are going... me, Andrea, Stipe, Eva and Boris... that makes 5 of us so can go in one car... will it be mine? :P haha

Anyway working soon... been doing different runs as of late... changing around but still no brand new run for me.  The last time i was on a brand new run was in Jan when i started 53.  I did 53 again yday and looks like i'm on it today too.  However in the next few weeks i could be starting 32.  This is a fullblooded pakuranga run... it doesn't get anymore pakuranga than this.  I've heard different stories about this run... some say it one of the harshest runs in our area (size, hills, mail etc)... others say its real easy if you do it certain ways.  it still stands that in terms of size the 3 runs that take the longest are 31, 32 and 54 in our area.  PS i know that recently someone got fired by nzpost due to him making dodgy remarks about a coworker etc etc on a blog he thought no-one sees.  Now before anyone gets any wiseass ideas that i'm doin likewise.  I haven't dissed anyone or nzpost for that matter.  why would i?  i LOVE my job... no seriously i do eh... being a postie kicks ass... no stress and good excercise.

Speaking of which there is something wrong with my metabolism... its definately slowed... well seemed to anyway.  I'm allmost 35 years old and in men metabolism slows at about this time.  Now this could also explain me being affected by the cold more now cos i burn less energy at rest and hence generate less heat.  Normally this would be seen as a bad thing cos of weight gain etc....  but for me it opens doors.  it means i can now get away with eating less and doin more manual labour without my body going into famine mode every 5 minutes cos of excessive weight loss.  its a great excuse to unleash the primal beast within me.  Mixed in with the more beachy attitude i promised before things could get interesting.  My holidays start in mid January and over the month or so i'm off i don't plan to wear any socks at all....  which would be a first for ages.  I hardly ever used to wear socks when i was younger... then again back then hardly anyone did... it was all barefeet and Jandals lol.  I'm making plans for my two OZ trips as well... finally sorting that out.  i'm now over 85kgs... by the time i go to OZ i wanna be well under 80kgs and about 8% bodyfat.  i'm now about 15% fat.  Between now and December the plan is to hit the gym hard... doing all 5 workouts.... cardio, classes, strength, toning and power.  That along with my job, my kiting (which i still do when the conditions are really good) and me cutting back on junkfood (and food in general...i have an eating disorder) should see me lose a decent amount of weight.  If that doesn't work then i'm gonna revert to "plan B".... which is somewhere i do NOT wanna head just yet lol
