WOF nightmare

despite my car being in exact same condition as last time it failed on 6 different occasions this time round... and if that wasnt enuf i know being screwed over by all n sundry over this debacle. let me get it strait... i am OVER the bullshit surrounding cars... to be honest unless you need a car for work, carrying stuff etc then i strongly recommend NOT having one eh. as the WOF checks get stricter, traffic gets worse and public tranny gets better (yes it is improving) i really dont see the point if owning a car inless its really necessary. unfirtunately i still need one for work... well its much easier to do extra work with a car. and if i get back into kitesurfing (which is a definate if i leave post) then ill need a car... so yes indeed still dramas galore... but with other stuff i really dont see the point of using a car. 

My hols now ended... back to work tomorrow... im just about to get some sleep. Now my car MAY be ready and its gonna cost me another $300 to fix... will bring in cash tomorrow as garage next door to work... im using them from now on. Im a busy bee atm, plenty of things to sort out including wild willy (remember him... thats my jeep). i will NOT be selling the jeep until ive done a moose meet with it... and in failing that at least kiting the spot where the moose meet is held... driving up Muriwai beach... after that i may sell Willy next time it craps out. im expecting it to cost several thousand to fix.  

also eventual plans to get a couple of 2 wheeled machines... including an ebike and a motorscooter.... and even a motorbike if i manage to become a motorbike postie... but thats all later on.

in the meantime im gonna try my luck at inside work.. sorting mail as oppesed to doing overtime delivering.

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
