2010 past tense summary

Right from the start the new attitude was spawned... actually it was from events on the first day that spawned the play hard to get attitude. It worked... the new attitude basically set the tone for the rest of the year... and 2010 would end up being the best year of the landlubber phase of 2008-2014. Anyway as mentioned before the playing hard to get immediately paid off and the new attitude of getting back to kiting instead of trying to be popular also paid off... not that i kited that much... cos suddenly i was popular... lols typical. This was actually my most social year believe it or not and it was the year that Stipe was finally unleashed on the new skool masses... ditto with Andrea. 

But even 2010 was not without its dramas... i fueded with several ppl... Andrea and Eva mostly but this year at least the fueds were short lived. As mentioned before i dunno wherher it was a wise thing introducing the likes of Drea and Stipe to the group but then again the groups mostly disbanded now and those two dont get along at all. 2010 continued the seesawing weight of 2009 where i ranged from 78-85kgs. In october i was in arguably the best shape of my existance where i was benching 82.5, weighed 78 and could do a set of 22.5kg onnthe bicep curls... thats total weight btw and done with both arms. Quite interesting though and this makes ppls impressions of me look even more laughable... Devon was normally doing THREE sets of the same weight so even at my peak Devon was still much stronger than me in the arms..l although everywhere else i did live up to my build... then again i was quite skinny and ripped during october 2010 dubbed "fit october". Me and Devon still trained lots and this was the cause of the fueds between me and eva as id allways be hanging with devon.... girls really hate it when you dont have time for them haha... your not gonna please women when you play hard to get.... which is why i do it! haha

Anyway another factor of the landlubber phase was terrible finances and whilst not as bad as now it was still bad back then and getting worse. work was going well however... unlike today i was still having early finishes... a 230 finish back then was known as "extremely late"... now of course its quite early. 

Wild willy was now becoming quite an attraction... with most ppl anyway... one new arrival on the scene initially wasnt too impressed to be ridin in it to the local pool hall... which was a common place for our social outings back then (we socialised lots). Anyway this new arrival was Dayna... who turned out to be the sister of Aston... who i met the previous year but didnt really see him at all in 2010. these two would play a big role in the following three years... infact their whole whanau did but more on that in the 2011 writeup.  Lots of the year was spent at the new hangout place for me discovered the previous year.... aka mrs ms place. Infact the entire group would hang out there... including Stipe and Andrea.  One of the nicest familys ive ever met... the matthews clan is STILL the main group i hang out with to this day... yes indeed one of the big finds of the modern era for me. Anyway Wazza too was a regular in our outings... hes a friend of Skot matthews... the eldest brother of the matthews clan... both of which i met in 2009.  And yet anither common interest would surface with them and me and Stipe... pro wrestling. Me and Stipe used to watch the wrestling all the time at my place back when i was at mums... and David Matthews (middle son) is also majorly into it as well. back then me, wazza, skot, stipe and david all used to watch wrestling and eat junkfood at mrs ms place haha... yea now you can see why i didnt kite much. Anyway turned out that Andrea too was into the wrestling... infact she used to do it! finding out she was quite a tomboy and one of the reasons why her and i have remained friends to this day despite some very rocky ground along the way.

Guyfawkes and Jaxxs 40th bday were two very big highlights on the social calendar for 2010. Jaxxs party was brilliant and really a reminder of what our group was. a month later i had one of the best guyfawkes i ever had... crazy stuff. 

However the big highlight came at the end of the year when i finally did the trip... it was a double trip... Sydney and Brisbane... in the middle of my biggest ever holiday... this period straddled 2010 amd 2011 and was allmost Eutopic... little did i know that it was the calm before a storm in 2011.
