getting ready for trips

mmmmm in 12 months time i would have travelled 4 times.... thats 4 times more than what i normally do.  i'm doing my homework beforehand though as i have no idea as to what i'm doing.  Here are the trips....

  1. MAY 2010:  1 day:  Me, mum and dad are flying down to see my bro and to celebrate Jaspers first bday.  Parents taking care of everything, staying in motel... its like the good old days when i lived with da folks lol.
  2. JUNE 2010: 4 days:  Visiting Paul in Wellie... staying at his place.... trip still needs to be sorted with Paul and i've had a few hiccups with getting time off from work.  Was gonna be in mid June but is now more like early July... in skool holidays?  damn i wanted peace n quiet on da train.... yep i'm gonna use the overlander..... never been on this brilliant train before and wanna see the beautiful NZ countryside without having to keep my eyes on da road lol
  3. END OF DEC 2010: 3 days Visitiing Craig in Sydney to celebrate the new year.  He wanted me to visit last year but i wanted an easy time of it so stayed at home... but this time i wanna go for it haha.  Haven't planned this trip yet and dunno if i'll even need time off work for it.  
  4. JAN 2011: 1 Month... big trip... but this could change.  I'm gonna visit Luke in Brisbane... hope to kitesurf over there... Gold coast, Noosa etc.  Haven't planned this trip yet but Luke is keen on me visiting.
Mum's getting me ready for the plane trip to Wellie... Now i just need to sort my stuff.  No idea as to how planes work haha.... i'll need to know cos i'm gonna do it solo at the end of the year haha.

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
