BACK INTO IT
Yep i'm a postman again... did a new run yesterday and one of the houses i delivered to was MINE haha sweet... yes hehe. The run itself was quite challenging... hard to tell how gnarly it is compared to others ive done on the first day but after i get up to speed i'll have more of an idea. Then again i don't know if i'll be on that run again or was it just a one off for me. Since i've jioned the Howick team ive fully done 3 runs and i like the idea of moving around a bit which is good. in earliers posts i mentioned a few numbers that were the mail runs i did.. those numbers have changed becasue we've changed the run layout a bit.... and some runs don't exist anymore... for example the highland park run (23) has been assymilated into other runs (55 is one of them). but 55 is now 215 i think and now includes part of highland park area along with a bit of bucklands beach rd... doesn't have the area where Scotts house is though... or the peaceful Oliver Rd neighbourhood. All the run numbers have changed and i'll be updating them to give you an idea of what is what in regards to the runs that i have done.
Anyway moving on I have been chatting to Carla who does Athletics for Pakuranga Athletics club and she of course was the person who origionally suggested that i do athletics. Of course next month i WILL be doin athletics... club meets only because i can't do interclub as thats on a Sat and i'm working on Sat... and i don't like rushing... especially in a job where there is no set finishing time. I'm stoked to be doing athletics and will be something different and fits right into my schedule to socially get fit for summer... other things i plan to do are going for runs with mates (like the Panmure Basin etc) and of course the group fitness classes at the gym... which i'm back into and will be going tonite if the conditions ain't right for kiting. The guys are piking out as allways so it'll be just me and the ladies from my freinds list going... including the super keen Eva who after becoming a mum is looking super fit again. My flatmate Emma is also keen and like Eva and myself is keen on getting "hot and skinny" for summer haha. Last year it was me and Dayna... this year the group is bigger. But where are the guys? the guys i hang out with are LAZY haha
