i hate being sick

I feel violated to be honest when i get ill.  i'm one of those ppl who puts his health before his money anyday.  Ive mentioned this before but i dont get jealous of ppl who are super rich... cos they often have lots of problems if they haven't got the brains to handle their fortune.  If there is anyone i get jealous of its the tribes ppl who fully live off the land totally unattached from the hustle and bustle of modern society.  btw the tribes ppl whoi have diseases and stuff got them off the white man... the ones yet to have any contact with the outside world dont have diseases and still have their traditional medicines to keep them healthy.  Those ppl have the best life but unfortunately these ppl are becoming fewer in number as the modern world slowly but surely takes over the entire planet.

But as for those of us who have been born into this fast paced world i still get angry that i get sick... having to take a day off work annoys me... especially as there was heavy mail today... i'm not saying that i made the wrong decision to stay at home... certainly not... as it was a heavy day my body would have found it much harder to cope and fight the illness at da same time... which means i get sicker which means my productivity suffers as a result.  ALSO it means that my team mates may end up catching my illness... and then we all screwed.  So NO i made the right decision to ring in sick but i do wish i never got sick in the first place grrrrrrr.  Like the tribes ppl i like doing a good days work and chillin and having fun when i see the need... none of this slaving stuff, and stuff the rat race.  I don't really call my job a "rat race".... its real chilled... start at 7... i'm an early riser and after a couple of hours sorting mail i'm out on da bike in da fresh air and the sun... hardly stress stress stress.  no traffic either.  I totally love my job

Anyway im back into it tomorrow... now for some sleep hehe

BUSY BUSY BUSY but great timing

Well it looks like im staying in Howick now.  Since my last post there has been issues with another Howick postie... but for a different reason and nothing to do with work.  there are two quotes which ring true in my mind at da mo... both relating to arguing.... i hate argueing... its a gross waste of time and energy... time and energy which i dont have at da mo.  I will also only argue my point if i think there is hope in resolving a crisis... and this latest crisis is beyond help imo.  It definately doesnt need my input anyway... and now that im run off my feet at work with day after day of 3pm finishes (used to finish at midday) i see no need to flog a dead horse... id rather just watch it decompose... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Currently experiencing issues with my internet... changed over to a different net company and whilst the connection itself is working well... my laptop doesnt seem to be towing the line so im on my Vodem which at my place has bad rec...

Jaxx 40th

yes it finally being written up haha... here it is. All fears of any flashpoints between me and Eva were quickly put to rest as we both got along well for setting up the balloons etc.... but i was basically in my "i'm a male i'm there to EAT" state. i had no intention at all of dancing... well the rest is history really as i DID dance. I did manage to get down to 80kgs for the party as i had hoped to do... anyway rolled up to Skots place with Stipe and stoked the male psyche by talking about food and metal whilst watching MMA cage fighting on the tele.  The 5 of us then piled into my car... me, David, Stipe, Skot and Duff... i was the only one under 100kgs... our total weight was over half a ton lols but white lightning was up to da task. Once at da CNB however i put on my more girly state (similiar to what i was like in 2008 and 2009)... danced, posed and even kissed Jaxx under the kissing bell.  Lots of alcohol was drunk but i didn't drink.  quite funny as...

HOLIDAYS

I'm in the middle of my longest break from work since i started at nzp.  it's goin well btw and i've had LOTS of sleep hahaha.  as for a genuine holiday (ie when it's just ME that's not working) i dunno yet.  i didn't put in for holidays during may but at da mo i'm not fussed.  My entitlement starts in August but remember that i do plan on having a month in OZ next Jan.... of course that may not occur.  i will be taking holidays as i'm entitled to them however as i don't want to have anything owing to me in view of what happened with maccas and the fiasco surrounding that.
